Magic Your way Tickets

Hi Everyone
Had a little look at the new Magic Your way price structure,At first glance it appears cheaper to Get a 10 day tocket with no park hopper option than a 7 day with park hopper option?
As we are big Universal fans too and also going to MVMCP 7 days will be enough ...SO....... Can you say in one day do MK till mid afternoon Then go to Epcot Thus using 2 days of your pass in 1 day
Has anyone heard of anyone doing this>

However many days you have on your tickets, if you have the hopper option, yes you can. If you don't have the hopper option you can visit only one park per day

Ian I don't know the answer to your question.

But logic would say that if you had a non hopping ticket, you could go to MK in the morning and use one day, and then do Epcot in the afternoon (of the same day) and use another day. So you would use two days in one day. I guess then you wouldn;t be strictly hopping as you'd be using "separate" days.

Hope that isn't as confusing as it looks! But I've never done this so I don't know.

I have it on good authority that you CAN'T do this. If you haven't got the park hopper option, you can only go back into the same park you came out of - if you try to enter a different Disney park it won't let you, even if you have extra days left on your ticket that you want to use up.

There have been questions for the last several weeks here on the Dis about this very issue. If you don't have the hopper option you can't do more than one park per day (meaning you can't use another day for that purpose). It has something to do with the way the computer systems read the tickets, it literally won't work in the machines. Sorry, it would be great if you could considering what a good value the 10 day tickets are.

I had found this post from '05 and was wondering if the conclusion was valid: You MAY NOT visit 2 parks on one day using the Magic Your Way Base Tickets even if you have extra days to spare or get rid of.

The conclusion is valid - without the park hopping option you cannot do more than 1 park in the same day even if you want to use 2 days worth of entry.

Last few years we've gone for the 10day base ticket and just planned our schedule not to need park hopping.
