Magic Your Way & Park Hopping Question

So, let me get this straight. The Park Hopper Pass tickets are going to be done away with? With these new tickets you can only go to one park a day or pay extra to park hop? And here's my most important question - My grandma got a travel agent to book our vacation in the beginning of November, so do I have these new MYW tickets? Because if we do, and if my grandma didn't know that she has to pay extra to park hop, I will be one very angry person. Unless I'm missing the big picture and big savings, I'm not liking these new tickets. Can someone please explain to me? I looked at the wdwinfo link, and it still doesn't make sense to me.

If they were booked in Nov and passes were included you don't have MYW. You will have hopping. I don;t think you could book any MYW packages until Yesterday.

Actually even if you had MYW I think you can still add on hopping at anytime.

That is correct. You should beable to add on hopping at any time. I know that you can add the nonexpiration on a ticket even if there is only 3 days left on a 7 day ticket, but I believe you would pay for all 7 days instead of 3.

Thanks for the info and I just got off the phone with my grandma and she said we have the Ultimate Park Hopper tickets. And my mom said that when you add on the park hopping option it's around the same price as it was before. *huge sigh of relief* I understand completely now. Thanks!!!
