I need some help deciding...

Keep in mind it is our first time to Disney ( Me and DS (7) )

I have a Magic Your Way 7 day ticket with Hopper and other parks ( Premium Ticket) Right now I DON'T have the No Expiration option

I have until I pay off my trip with the travel agent to add on No Expiration Option.

Since we have never been there I am not sure if we will have unused days or not...I figure we have 7 days....I definately want to do MK and AK and water park or 2. ( he won't go on fast or scary rides, good thing cause I get sick on roller coasters and such) anyways..I figure we can take our time and get the most out of our priority choice parks and if we have time go to EC and MGM. I am in the process of planning our days to have some kind of schedule ( and clue) so we are not just aimlessly wondering thinking where should we go next..I guess I am kinda thinking I am already spending a lot of money for this trip, what's an extra $110, just incase we have days left. There is also that possibility that I wont have any days left ....NEW TO THIS AND CONFUSED

You can wait until on the way out the turnstiles on your last day before heading home, to decide to purchase non-expiration. (within 13 days of first usage and don't forget to do it) You will know exactly what is left on the pass then.

I called Disney and my travel agent and asked when was the last day I could decide to add on No expiration option and both told me since I was booking with Travel agent, had to be done by the time my trip is paid off (march 8)

So now I am really confused

I read the link you suggested and have a question

it states:

"You can purchase the pass without non-expiration and decide to add it later (within 14 days) before you return home"

my question is " within 14 days" what does that refer to?

1) 14 days of purchase
2) 14 days of start of vacation
30 14 days of first use

Thanks for you patience. sorry to be so oblivious

If you were buying your tickets separately, you would have the within 14 days after first use to change the option to non-expiration, but all the people who are buying PACKAGES can't change their tickets.
I would save your $110 -- that's half the price of another 7 day hopping ticket! Plan to go and enjoy the parks even if it is just for a few hours each day rather than trying to commando style into fewer days and wear yourselves out. You'll want to go back and do your favorites in each park.

If you were buying tickets separately (and not a package), it would mean 14 days of first use of the ticket.

Even if the MYW tickets were part of a package, they can now be changed at WDW. You can add any option to them.

The restrictions on package tickets applied to the former UPH tickets that were included with packages, not to the MYW tickets. Package tickets no longer need to be for all days of your stay as they were previously. You can now buy a package for 7 days and get a one day ticket is that's what you wanted to do.

I'm not so sure about that. I will have to find where I read it, but I got the distinct feeling that when you bought a package through a travel agent, you were not able to change those tickets at Disney.
