We are looking at going right after Thanksgiving and we want to book Le Cellier for that Saturday (or even Friday) for the Candlelight Procession. If we book now, we don't have to complete paying for it until 45 days out. Woudl we still be able to use it to book Le Cellier or do we need to have the package completely paid for? Also, how soon do they release the dinner packages for the Candlelight?

Thanks.

You can book any table service restaurants as long as you have a confirmation number, it does not matter if your package is paid off or not. If I remember correctly, I think that the CP packages came out sometime last summer. You can now book 180 days ahead for most restaurants but not before that.

I have actually never had to give a resort confirmation number to book any dining...not even the CP package! Just booked it! And no, you don't have to have it paid for in full.

You can book a CP package even if you're not staying at a WDW resort. In the past you had to pay for the CP package when you made your reservation. MYW Dining guests had to give a credit card guarantee.

They asked me for my confirmation number when i called to book the majority of my table seatings, but thinking back I am wondering if it was because it was right around the time they started the thing where you can book all of your adrs for up to 10 days if you were staying onsite. I know I called 90 days from the first day of my stay.

Also to answer GillieRoses question regarding the number of credits for the CP.
When we booked ours last year, LeCellier was only 1 TS credit. Whether or they changed it I do not know. I believe that Coral Reef was 2 TS credits at the time. They had all the restaurant choices separated by catergory when we booked, depending on the price range of the restaurant.

Is the CP package more than 1 dining credit?

Last year it was 2 credits if you ate at Coral Reef, since it was a signature restaurant, and 1 credit at the other restaurants.
