Magic Waitlist

I check the DVC site multiple times a day because I was waitlisting a 5th night @ AKV value studio March 25. I also had a waitlist for 3 nights at the end of my vacation @ CCV in September/October. I got the CCV waitlist this morning and begrudgingly canceled my AKV Club level studio (which did not show in the calendar after i refreshed).

I called to combine the first three days at CCV with the last three and the CM told me that he sees that my waitlist for AKV value studio came through. Awesome!

The waitlist was still showing on my Dashboard until he combined the current 4 days with the waitlist. Magic waitlist !!!

I am bummed about canceling the CL studio @ Jambo but now we are not doing a split stay and I have never stayed at CCV before (Covid-19 made our May 23 trip a no go).

Oh, and I had leftover points since the CL booking used more points and so I was able to bank points into 2021. FIRST. TIME. EVER. to bank points.

Waitlists need to be processed by. CM when they match and unfortunately, they don’t have a way to denote that on the dashboard....wish they did,

I have learned to call and check before I cancel a waitlist if it’s what I really want...and I have found it matched but not processed, just like you!

I have also canceled when it was no big deal, only to find what I wanted show up minutes after I did. I am pretty sure in these cases it was because my WL had matched and it released when I canceled.

yes, I would feel better if there would be a way to note “processing” on a pulled waitlist request. Drives me crazy. I hate bothering MS during a busy time, but it would save me some stress in piecing together a stay last minute.
