Hi,
I have a 4 day cruise booked for April 11th.....
My wife now is looking into the 7 day cruise leaving the day before.....
QUESTION:
Is there any difference in the ships? Different restaraunts, food, bars ( ESPN, etc)?
I been on the Wonder, but not on the Magic....
Is the lobby the same, or different decore?
Any help....Thanks....

The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder are sister ships and are very similar to one another. With that said, there are some differences.

Here is a great site I found that gives a side-by-side comparison of the two ships: Disney Magic/Disney Wonder Side-by-side Comparison.

The site is a little out of date since the Magic had her drydock in August. Now, the Magic has a new coffee house (Cove Cafe) in place of the old teen lounge, Common Grounds. The Magic no longer has an ESPN club as that is now The Stack (the new teen lounge) and Off Beat comedy club has become Diversions, a pub type bar.

Hope this helps!

There are some minor differences, but they really are sister ships. Barb & Tony have many trip reports on both ships, and they often point out the similarities or differences. Try their site at www.castawayclub.com

But in a nutshell, one of the ships is Art Deco in theme, and one is Art Nouveau. (Don't ask me which, I'm art challenged  )

On the Magic, the nicer rotation restaurant is Lumiere's (decorated like Beauty and the Best), on the Wonder, it's Triton's (decorated like an underwater palace ala Little Mermaid).

Magic's entertainment zone is Beat Street, Wonder's is Route 66. I think all the clubs names are different too.

Magic's deck 9 buffet is Topsiders, Wonders is Beach Blanket Buffet.

They obviously go different places, etc.

The 7 day has a great deal more options for entertainment since they have much more time to work with. There are family cabaret shows between dinner and the show, while the Wonder only has game type shows like Walk the Plank. 7 day has character breakfasts (1 per party), Palo brunch and high tea (sea days), formal and semi formal nights, The Art of .... series, etc.

If you have the option, I'd go for the 7 day!

Good luck.
