Magic Spa and Rainforest

This question of anyone who has cruised in the past cooupl eof months and used the Suriel Bath and/or Rainforest.

When we cruies last summer, both the Suriel Bath and Rainforest had mechnical difficulties...something always seemed to not work quite the way it was intended. Further, several tiles around the Rainforest common area were broken.

How was it for you?

I too am interested. Love the spa and will be sailing in Nov.

We were on the Magic Nov 29th and really looked forward to the rainforest. There were glitches the first 2 days - broken shower controls, no peppermint in the peppermint shower. The head of the spa got lots of complaints but got everything straightened out. Didnt notice broken tiles.

I could not get into the mud bath. Sounded great - sounded sexy. It was a horrific experience. I scalded my feet as the steam came on. The room filled and I could not see. I jumped on the seat to move my feet from the hot air.

We stopped and tried again.

Then we used the shower.

Then we used the mud. That was neat. Until we tried to get it off. It was in every nook and cranny (and I mean EVERY!)

It was not what I expected. Next time, massage!

We love the Rainforest but....BUT
Cruising in August before the dry dock, we thought that all the things that were broken or didn't work would be fixed by the time we cruised again in October.....

HAHAHAHAHAHHAH!

Still the same things broken, the same things breaking down or malfunctioning and the same very poor attitude by the Vista Spa (NON-Disney) employees.

Although I do like the Rainforest when it works, the aggravation of getting there and finding out that the sauna is broken or too hot to use, or that the Rainforest is closed due to something not working right is just too much to deal with on a vacation.
