Magic Shots and locations?

I have only been to DLR once and my husband has never been. We are going in July and spending 3 nights in a 1BR villa at Grand Californian!!!

My husband really enjoyed taking Magic Shot pictures during our honeymoon at WDW this summer and I'm hoping we can have fun and get lots of Magic Shots at DLR as well.

Can anyone tell me what types of shots are available and where we can find them? Thanks!!!

Your best bet is to ask every photopass photographer that you see, if they have any magic shots and which ones they have (note that the ones using a tripod don't seem to have any Magic Shots). DLR is modifying their Photopass offerings right now, so there may be some new magic shots added with this latest overhaul.

In the past, I've gotten Magic Shots at:

• Carsland (Flo's; I think there is also a Dinoco Helicopter and Lizzie option)
• Main Street (seasonal; I've gotten Olaf and Zero at different times)
• In front of the Castle (Pascal)
• In front of the train station (Mickey Balloons)
• Near Soarin' (Stitch Coming Out of the Ground)

I don't know which of these are still available, but I would ask every photographer you visit what they have.

I got Olaf at the Partners statue in May and Tink at the castle and Mickey floral last week. But like PP said, they just announced upcoming changes today so I wouldn't plan now on what will be around later. And asking the photogs what they can do and where really is the best strategy. Start early because they need certain lighting conditions, too.

I got Stitch sitting on the bench with me near Hyperion Theatre last fall.

A photographer near Matterhorn was able to do an "Inside Out Magic Shot" which basically was just a fancy border, no character in the photo with you.
