I believe they have been holding back rooms on the WBPC. Some people have canceled (saw on the face book page) and those rooms have not been released. We're not on until next year for the WBPC. 14 nights on deck 6 midship. I'm very slightly, it's in the back of my mind, worried.
Anybody know what would happen if rooms end up out of service on a completely sold out ship? Especially if you're already at sea? Where would they move you?
We'll be on the 4/28 sailing too! Deck 7 fwd. I'm not worried.I am also on that sailing as well as the 4/28 sailing, not concerned either.
How would someone know the rooms were not released vs just being snatched up quickly? I know several cruisers who are checking day and night for a spot.I believe they have been holding back rooms on the WBPC. Yep, also TA's are looking at them regularly day and night for clients. How would someone know the rooms were not released vs just being snatched up quickly? I know several cruisers who are checking day and night for a spot.
Most canceled rooms take a Anywhere from a few minutes to 30 minutes to return to inventory and by the time that you checked it, somebody might’ve easily snatched it up or it might not have returned to inventory and by the time that it does, somebody else will have grabbed it, and you will not find it.So we were booked on the Panama Canal cruise for April 2026. I cancelled this morning due to concern about the sewage issues, lack of ports and minimal time in each of them (24 hours total port time over 14 days is too little IMO). We also had a cabin on deck 6.
As soon as I cancelled with the Disney agent I went back to the Disney website and searched the Panama Canal cabin options and no cabins appeared. It seems like DCL is holding them back.
No real way to know for sure. However multiple people have released rooms at specific times to let someone book them and they have not shown up. One person even wrote a program to keep checking for the room. It was assumed that the rooms were held back, given to people internally or travel agents. Or they holding them until they have a few and will release them all at once. Who knows what Disney is going to do.How would someone know the rooms were not released vs just being snatched up quickly? I know several cruisers who are checking day and night for a spot.
That’s unfortunate. In all my contracts, I have only seen a few times when the show was not performed at all; usually due to mechanical issues, incredibly rough seas or the cast were unable to perform (sickness/injury).Update on Deck 6 issue: DD is on the Magic deck 6 currently and says that the room is fine and the hallway smells fine. She is mid ship and has walked down to the aft elevators.
She is upset that the Tangled show won’t be performed due to unforeseen circumstances. That is her favorite movie and was the one thing she was looking forward to.
Sure hope Tangled is back up for our May 2nd sailing. Haven’t seen it before and really looking forward to itUpdate on Deck 6 issue: DD is on the Magic deck 6 currently and says that the room is fine and the hallway smells fine. She is mid ship and has walked down to the aft elevators.

They have a Stars on Broadway performer on board. I assume that is why Tangled can’t be performed. It is only a 3 nt cruise. I told her to go to that as it is a good performance and the person talks about their life. Saw one on a PC cruise and it was great. Not as great as a stage performance but great in a different way.
We just disembarked the Magic yesterday. Tangled was available the first night.Sure hope Tangled is back up for our May 2nd sailing. Haven’t seen it before and really looking forward to it
Just got off the Magic yesterday. Stayed in 6630. No plumbing or smell issues. Lotta aft vibration though. Otherwise everything was great. If you do Palo, ask for Sandro from Portugal. Best Palo server we've ever had (first time on the Magic though).
