They wouldn’t be able to move you anywhere. They would clean and probably place fans in the room to dry, and then once it’s clean and dry, you’re all goodWe're not on until next year for the WBPC. 14 nights on deck 6 midship. I'm very slightly, it's in the back of my mind, worried.
Anybody know what would happen if rooms end up out of service on a completely sold out ship? Especially if you're already at sea? Where would they move you?
We actually had an oopsie on the inaugural Norwegian Fjords. We had a nice balcony room and upon entering the rooms when they opened, we found out that there was no functioning bathroom. (the floors and fixtures had been ripped out and the room was supposed to be out of inventory but they mistakenly sold it anyway). We went down to GS and found out that "every other balcony room" had sold out by upgrades at the port. However, they magically found us one on the same floor and I believe category. They do hold rooms back for emergency. However, for a large amount of people, I don't know what they'd do, and I personally wouldn't be cool with a recently flooded room that had not been terminally cleaned and just dried with a blower. They wouldn’t be able to move you anywhere. I am also on that sailing as well as the 4/28 sailing, not concerned either. We embark 5/2. Not worried
It is not true that they hold back rooms for emergencies. Sometimes there are rooms available to move people to, but it is certainly not guaranteed. We actually had an oopsie on the inaugural Norwegian Fjords. There is no “current issue”. There was an issue a few cruises ago and now it has been fixed. Obviously anything can happen at any time (on land or sea), but otherwise, your daughter will be fineThe current issue is on deck 6. My daughter is leaving on Friday 4/18. Got her room assignment and it is deck 6 mid ship. Crossing my fingers that her room is not affected and that the waterfall in the atrium has been fixed and the carpet dried out.
