Hi All - on the Dream we loved the pirate night because it was a cool show with great characters and also we loved how everyone seemed to sit down to watch the show. Then we went on the Wonder and were suprised that it wasn't as much of a story show with characters but more like a rock concert with really loud music and pirates and not a ton of time viewing the characters. Also everyone was standing....

The fireworks on the Dream were late, like 9-10pm but the fireworks on the Wonder was right after the pirate show....

Question - is pirate night on the Magic more like a loud rock concert or more like the show on the dream with less rock and roll and more story line?

Also when did the fireworks go off (right after pirate show or later in the evening)?

THANKS!

The Wonder has a different Pirate show than the Dream/Fantasy.

On the Dream/Fantasy, there is a family-friendly pirate show with Disney characters between the two dinner seatings. And a more Jack Sparrow-type pirate show after the second seating followed by the fireworks.

On the Wonder (and the Magic last time I was on her), there is one Pirate show. With Disney characters doing a concert-type show when the "bad guy" pirates swoop in and take over. Then Captain Mickey appears and fights off the bad guys, followed by the fireworks. This is late, after the second seating.

I believe, during the time of year that it's dark by 8:00, they've been running the Pirate show/fireworks earlier (between the two dinner seatings) on the Magic. Don't know for sure about the Wonder.

We recently cruised on the Magic. The pirate show is now between main and late dining with fireworks immediately after the show. The substance of the show is the same as the Wonder.

The Magic is the same as the Wonder and very rock performanceish. I definitely agree that the Fantasy/Dream show is far superior. The fireworks on the Magic went off right after the pirate show.

ok thanks all... this is what I suspected, you are describing exactly what we saw on the Wonder last year and it was between main and second seating so I guess we'll just try and go upstairs to watch it and maybe away from the speakers... last time we missed the fireworks because we didn't realize they were going to go after immediately after the show and we left the show early... we'll try and stick it out this time i supposed and hope it won't be too loud ( my DD is HF ASD so really loud music can be rough sometimes). Thank you all! :)
