Magic out of Miami questions

Last week we booked a VGT rate on the Magic for this Thanksgiving week (leaving in 9 days). Cruised multiple time with Disney but never out of Miami. A few questions for those of you that have cruised from Miami:

1. We are staying the day before in Ft. Lauderdale. We were going to take a private transfer to port of Miami. How much time should we plan on getting from Ft. Lauderdale area to Miami? It will be the Sunday morning the week of Thanksgiving.

2. Are taxi's easily available at the Port after the cruise. Need to get to our hotel in Maimi after the cruise that is relatively near the port.
