Magic - One Bedroom Accessible Suites

Hi everyone! We are considering the 12-night British Isles cruise and would like to sail concierge, but the only staterooms left are accessible one-bedrooms. We are ok with the roll-in shower, but I'm a little concerned about the location of the staterooms (currently 8100, 8600 and 8602 are available). I've read in some reviews, these staterooms can be a little noise (particularly when docking) plus people above on the Topsiders balcony can see right onto these particular stateroom balconies. Does anyone have any feedback on these rooms? I'm assuming, based on configuration, if we were to pick one, 8602 would be the way to go? My DH is ready to book, but I'm a little hesitant as I don't want to end up in a room that is too noisy to sleep in. Thanks for any feedback!

We have stayed in 8102 on the Magic and 8600 on the Wonder. We heard some noise in the morning as chairs were readied for breakfast, but not enough to wake us up. It may have been possible for guests above to see onto the balconies, but that didn't bother us -- the size of the balconies was worth the decline in privacy. I preferred 8032 midship because it had a 3rd bed. However, for just 2 people, or a couple with 1 more person, I would not hesitate to stay in an accessible one-bedroom if that was all that was available.

Thanks so much, Mommb! There are only 3 of us, so space definitely won't be an issue. One question - did you prefer the layout of 8102 or 8600 better? Based on the deck plans, they seem to have a different shape and different balcony space. Or were they virtually the same?

We were in 8600 for the Transatlantic. It is huge. Huge. We ended up showering most days in the non-accessible shower. There is a fold out couch for the third person to sleep on. The verandah was also large, and we never felt that we were being watched from above . Yes, there was noise with docking, but it was not really at times that affected us negatively. We did not appreciate any noise overnight that would affect our sleeping, just the early morning docking sounds which were likely heard by many many other staterooms. We felt it was a wonderful treat to have that much space, especially for an extended length cruise. I heard there is a "secret door" right around the corner that could get you up to the food, which I did not realize was there until after we arrived home.
