DH and I did a 10 year anniversary on the Wonder this year and loved it, cannot wait to take the kids. We are doing the land vacation this year in November so we decided to wait until 2011 for the cruise.

Hey everyone, we just got off the Magic last Saturday and booked on board for this date. Right now it's myself and dh along with our 3 youngest, ds will be 14 at the time of cruising ds 7 and ds 5, my two older ones will be in college so can't come this time. My parents and sister along with her family are also joining us. Her kids will be dd 15, dd 13, ds 7 and dd 4. We had such an awesome time I can't wait! Boy 21 months does seem far away though. So has anyone done this itinerary before?

So Joh, I came upon your trip reports and read a couple last night and was killing myself laughing! A pretty sad state wouldn't you say when your Friday night entertainment is staying home reading trip reports!

Hi Char, nice to 'meet' you - glad to hear you enjoyed the trip reports. Nothing wrong with reading trippies on a Friday night, especially if a glass of wine is accompanying your reading

The cruise does seem a long way away but we can book our flights in April and, once that's done, it will seem more real

So..I just booked another cruise today. I'm not a patient person and 21 months is just too far away! It's just a 4 night on the Wonder and it's just my DH and myself. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary so we had to do something special, right?... Well that was my logic anyway and it worked on my hubby. Even though on our last cruise he said OK no more Disney until our next cruise. He's hooked like the rest of us

We are going on the Oct 24th sailing! I can't wait. I am feeling SOME pangs of guilt for going without the kids but I'm sure I'll get over it. For our 8th anniversary we went to Disney just the two of us and they're STILL griping about it even though we had taken them earlier that year. I keep telling them I'm doing them a favour by not letting them believe the world revolves around them but they're not buying it.... the part about the favour OR that the world doesn't revolve around them

I am feeling rather embarrassed - I see now that I unintentionally am 'stalking' the 'Bad Mothers'!! Hopefully, we can catch another drink at the Konked Out Bar together, ladies!
