Magic: November 1, 2013 5 night Western

We got our stateroom assigned to us last night. 2526! So glad that we actually have a "home" now!

We did a FB page for our cruise last year and it was very successful and convenient. Not everyone joined, but a lot of us did. We kept it closed and only accepted those who had joined our DIS meet through the DISBOARDS. A lot of us ended up being "friends" through regular FB after the cruise.

I live in Florida. It has it's up and downs. The summers are miserable, I love our winters, traffic is great in the smaller cities, and Disney is only two hours from me!

Welcome!

kpadalik I see you live in North Port? I lived in Sarasota (Palmer Ranch) for a couple of years after college! I worked at the Frosted Mug :) Small world!

Diesel - A small world indeed! I grew up in Sarasota and have been here in North Port for 12 years now. I know exactly where the Frosted Mug is. It's still there! Where do you live now?

Hi everyone, we just booked our cruise this morning. 40 more night-nights!!! Sooo excited to see the changes on the boat. Is it still possible to join a fish hanger exchange?

pixiedust:welcome to our group. I believe you still have time to join the FE group. Send Mrs Mork a pm for more details. I also can't wait to see all the changes to the ship. She's going to be beautiful I know :thumbsup2.

I saw some people posted bdays, and stuff like that will be happening on the cruise, so I figured I would mentioned our 14th anniversary will be on the 6th, the last day. ;-)
This will be our 5th cruise with disney. We love the magic and cant wait to see the upgrades. The kids are really looking forward to test the new water slides.

Have not heard about Pluto. ?? :confused3

That's actually referring to the planet, not the character. I can see the confusion here. I'll probably change that.

Cruise docs are in!!!! 5 more weeks
til sailing. Can't wait to sink my teeth into a warm chocolate chip cookie.

Can someone help me understand why all of my post shows twice. :confused3 And I can't delete the second post.

We got ours yesterday too.

Can't help you on the double tap. Maybe the DIS knows you have more to tell us than you have.

Hmmmmm?

Cruise docs arrived a few days ago. 38 days and counting!!! So excited!!! We did a "dry run" down to Miami last weekend to check on drive time - about 4 hours from Bradenton. Also checked out the hotel we're staying in the night before the cruise. We've also completed our online check-in. Makes sail away day so easy and smooth!!!

We celebrated 47 in July! We celebrated our 40th on the Wonder and our 45th on the Dream.

This is our first time leaving from Miami....We are flying into FLL and it looks like SAS transportation is the cheapest way to get to the port. Has anyone found a better option? We have always flown in the day before a cruise, this will be our first time flying in the morning of. It makes me a little nervous, but hopefully there won't be any delays. Our plane gets into FLL at 9:45am. Anyone else flying in the morning of?
This is our first sailing from Miami also. We're driving down the night before. We just don't want any surprises the morning of by trying to drive 250 miles from the Tampa area to Miami.
