Magic Mountain hotel choices?

Planning a trip next week for 3 nights. Will probably visit MM 2 days and Universal 1.

Choices I've found near MM & price including tax:
Best Western $296
La Quinta $319
Holiday Inn $387
Fairfield $319
Hampton $334

All include breakfast. Anyone stay at any and can comment? Hampton Inn seems to have the highest reviews but all seem nice.

I haven't stayed at either of those, but last summer we stayed at the Hilton (the hotel closest to the entrance) and the Embassy Suites (up highway 5 one exit). Both were nice hotels, but I'd give the edge to the Embassy Suites, which had a big room and a great breakfast. I got some nice discounts at these hotels with my AAA card, and by booking directly at hilton.com.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn down the road a bit. We liked having a room with 2 queens and a sofa bed since we have two teen boys who don't like to share a bed. The breakfast was decent and parking was free.
