Have we heard any rumours on if they will come back? They were a huge perk of stating onsite. Do you think it is possible that they are gone forever?

I think it's a function of staffing and hotel occupancy. Spring Break is winding down now and the three hotels look to be sold out most days. I saw a report/rumor yesterday that the parks were going to 100% available capacity soon. Also the nighttime shows are coming so hours should be extending more as people stay later. That's all gotta be a signal that staffing is back up to some degree.

I think it's more than just filling the hotels though. If they have full staff in the mornings, why not have the park cash registers running one hour early? Sure people are on rides, but lots of breakfast/gift shop stuff happening also. I vote yes, coming back at some point. :thumbsup2

Just had a thought about the on-site hotels being "sold out" this Spring Break season. Is it possible hotel capacity is still capped? Given the housekeeping issues, it would make sense that maybe the hotels are still not up to full capacity, so maybe occupancy is not what it appears. We have friends/family there this week so I will be curious about the crowds at the DLH/GCH pools, etc. Maybe someone here can report also.

Either way, there is no doubt they are going crazy to try and get everything running 100% by summer season. Seems like that would be best chance to see early entry return. And I would expect it to be announced when the summer promos roll out. Mid-May? Fingers crossed. :thumbsup2

We are at GCH now, and the hotel does not seem full. I don’t know if rooms were “sold out” or not this week, but considering it is Easter and Spring Break, I would have thought so. The parks feel full and waits for rides are substantial, but the hotel itself is not feeling full. Not too crowded at the pool, bars, check in (2 people in front of us to check in mid day on Thursday before Easter). We even got the King/pull out chair/day bed that we requested, which never happens. So, staffing may be the limiting factor. I don’t excuse Disney for that though because they can get staffing if they pay enough. I know this since I own my own business and am having to pay more to staff every position (except mine!).
