Do you have to purchase your tickets in advance, online to get the magic morning?

Or can I got to the ticket booth outside the park when we get into town, buy a 5-day hopper, and get a magic morning?

Hi ClaraOswald, Magic Mornings are not available at the ticket booths, so you have to purchase tickets ahead of time. Magic morning is available on the 3, 4, or 5 Day Passes. Then you are allowed 1 Magic Morning, on either Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. I know you can purchase them online and if you are staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel, they should have these tickets as well :)

HTH,

I did see Hojoanaheim's response above, but we were just there in June and we purchased 5-day hoppers at the ticket booths outside the parks and got a Magic Morning on our tickets. We did not order them in advance or anything like that, just walked up to the ticket booths to buy them. Anyone else that can confirm this for her?

Hmm...I'm hoping this is true.

Question....we are going in September for our 1st Disneyland adventure. We will be staying at the Grand Californian & purchasing 2 day tickets (thru a training class held at the hotel)...will we be able to take advantage of the early Magic Mornings or is that only if you have bought the 3 or more day tickets? Thought I read somewhere that if you are staying at GC, you automatically get the early magic morning.

I bought 3-day tickets last Friday online for a visit later this week. When you clicked on the Magic Mornings information link it did state that tickets had to be purchased in advance. That's the only reason I did so.

Can't wait for our trip to start!

It's two different things. Muti-day tickets of three days or longer purchased in advance (though some say also purchased at the gate) entitle any guest holding them to one Magic Morning entry.

Guests of the three on-site Disney hotels (including GCH) receive Extra Magic Hour privileges every day of their stay at one of the two DLR parks (which park depends on the day of the week.)

You'll receive the latter perk as a guest of GCH, regardless of your park ticket.

Thanks mikedoyleblogger! That's good to know. We don't normally do extra morning hours at Disney World but thought it might be good to have since our bodies will be on our regular schedule & Eastern time zone thinking!
