Hi all!

I'm going to DL in August on a Tuesday with MM that starts at 8AM.

I've read some tips on here to start in Fantasyland and by 9ish go ride Space Mountain then venture over to ride PoTC, HM, Indy etc at rope drop?

If I go through the turnstiles and get MaxPass, when is the soonest I can get one and which ride would you recommend being the first?

I'm thinking Indy? Or would you guys say Buzz, Space Mountain or Star Tours?

Eeek, Only a few weeks away and my planning senses are tingling, would love for everyone's advice!

You can book a fastpass right away-during MM you will just get a return time for half hour after park opens.

If fantasyland rides aren’t your thing (morning is the best time for those), use maxpass to book Indy right after you enter the park and then head straight for star tours and after that do buzz. The waits should be super low (because everyone heads to fantasy land).. then enjoy fantasy land until it’s time for your Indy fast pass (which my guess the return time will be 930). You will probably be able to book another fastpass 30 mins after you book the Indy one (the app will tell you when you can book another one- you don’t have to wait to use it first) and then you can grab a space mountain and BOOM- you will have all those top rides done by like 11am. After space mountain grab HM and Matterhorn max passes and do pirates standby.

This is basically what we did on a day the park was at capacity and it worked great!

Do you follow Disneyland daily on Facebook? I find her plans are the best and what I listed above is really close to what she recommends.

I’d get Indy.
Are you riding mm in Tomorrowland
Or fantasyland?

Hi @smartlabelprint

I'm planning to do Fantasyland first (not doing Peter Pan until park close probably) and then hopefully head over to Tomorrowland before MM ends.

Hi, @katyringo!
I sure do follow Disneyland Daily! I didn't know she had updated plans with MaxPass! I'll have to go digging!

I'm going to do Fantasyland first but skipping Peter Pan and Casey Jr.
Matterhorn sadly is going to be down when I'm there so I'll miss that.
After Fantasyland, I was planning to try and get Space Mountain, Star Tours and Buzz all done before Rope Drop where I'll head over to Indy etc.
Would you recommend getting MaxPass for Indy? Or save it for Space? :O
Thanks!

I really don’t think it matters which one you do first. If you start booking fastpasses early you won’t have a problem getting them both.

Go to Disneyland daily’s actual blog and I think that post is titles “how to start your day at Disneyland”
