Magic Morning (early entry) at Disney California Adventure

Yes MM is only at DL. Onsite hotel guests have Early Entry to DCA on some days.

If you have a 3+ day ticket that includes 1 Magic Morning, you can only use that for DL on (typically) Tues, Thurs and Sat.

I think the confusion often comes from the fact there are two different early morning programs.

Magic Mornings (MM) is available to guests with certain 3-day or longer tickets and only happens in Disneyland. MM usually occur on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Extra Magic Hour (EMH) is available to guests staying at one of the three on-site hotels (Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel, and/or Paradise Pier). EMH is offered in both DCA and DL, but on different mornings. Usually DCA has EMH on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. DL usually has EMH on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (you'll notice that these are the same days as Magic Morning).

Figment explained it well. On the DL side there are two names for effectively the same perk. I think the resorts could save some guest confusion by calling them the same thing: customers with 3 day or longer tickets get one early entry at DL only, and onsite customers get early entry every day.

Only the onsite guests are able to access early entry at DCA on certain days and DL has its early entry for anyone with certain tickets.

Just to clarify, DL has early entry for onsite guests (not ticket type dependent) as well as for certain multi-day ticket holders.

DL => Onsite guests and guest with eligible 3-day or longer tickets
DCA => Onsite guests

Thanks for the correction Figment.......I missed putting that in.
