Magic Mobile & Magic Band

This will be my first trip with Magic Mobile. Previously I used a Magic Band, but now that I wear a smartwatch, I plan to just use Magic Mobile via Google Wallet.

My wife, who does not have her own MDE, wants to just wear her old Magic Band. I assume that won't be a problem even though her ticket is also downloaded to my Google Wallet. Obviously I have to make sure I scan only my pass at the Mickey Head readers. But, wanted to check with the experts.

As long as the MB your wife wears is still showing as Active under her name in your MDE account, and her ticket is linked to her, she should be fine. I’m not sure how you would access her ticket on your watch, but I’m sure you’d need to tap or swipe or do something to bring it up. However, I’d also have her go through the tapstyles first!

Also, occasionally my watch would not register tapping into the park and I’d end up using my MB. Didn’t seem to have that issue tapping into LLs.

I'm planning on using my phone to enter the park and tap into LL rides rather than my watch. I mention the watch since I didn't want to wear something on each arm. My first time going to WDW with a smart watch. Thanks for the confirmation and the idea to let wife go first with her MB.
