Just curious...
Is anyone going to Magic Meets in Camp Hill, PA this August?

I'll be there for my 3rd year- hope to see some DIS Unplugged friends there as well!

I'll be ther for the second year. Last year I was one of the women in the group that wore monorail tshirts with the "Por Favor Mantengase Alejado De Las Puertas" quote.

Magic Meets is terrific! Are you doing any of the Friday night or Sunday activities?

Cool- I remember those shirts!
My DH liked them so much he had to find one next time we were in WDW.

We will be doing both Friday and Sunday activities- Celebrity Magic Tunes was a hoot- I can't wait for this year's edition!

DH and I have volunteered this year- we'll be helping set up and tear down the main room. Friends of ours have done this before- so we are happy to participate and help out.

I'll be there, first time. I'm just going for Saturday. I'll probably wear a Dis shirt.

I'm going with my two daughters (see photo below of us from last year). Friday to Sunday. I dont know if we will do the Friday night activities....I feel a little "shy" as I dont really "know" anyone and it is limited to 100 people. Has anyone done this before? Did you know anyone?

Cant wait though.....going to take advantage of the Hershey tickets this year and a friend of mine and her daughters are meeting us there Saturday night to join us a Hershey on Sunday....

The first year I went, I went by myself and had a ticket for Friday night. I knew absolutely no one! And I was a little too shy to go up to the "celebrities" and say hi.

But, within minutes another woman, also there alone, and I started to talk. We're good friends now. And although we only see each other at MM each summer- we look forward to getting together again. On that year's Saturday event we sat with other people and met another young man who is also now a good friend. Last year, he introduced us to another family and all 8 of us are looking forward to getting together this year again.

I love walking around the room, visiting the various podcasters, authors, webmasters and seeing other Disney fans. It's such a fun event.

Can't wait! Hope to meet you all there.
