I am looking forward to my first wdw vacation with my b friend and his relatives we will be staying at wl for 2nights while we wait for his family to arrive and was wondering if there is anything for adults to do at magic kingdom.

Thank you for any advice you can give

Wow, congratulations on your upcoming WDW trip!! You will love it!!

There is so much to do at the Magic Kingdom for adults. Most of the attractions are geared towards both adults and children alike. Do not think of it as a kiddie park, it's not.

Trust me once you go you will be hooked, just like the rest of us!

lots of fun for adults,

space mountain,
thunder mountain railroad (coaster)
haunted mansion,
splash mountain
pirates of the caribbean

just to name a few!!

trust me you will have a blast!:wave2:

There are adults in the Magic Kingdom....nope never seen any....just a whole lot of big kids and they arent always seen pushing the little kids around in strollers.
To quote an obvious favorite of mine "I'm growing older but not up" :earsboy: :jester:

Yes there is plenty to do. You will be amazed at how much u can do. Then there is also all the other parks. Since you will be there for two days.

I think the best ride for adults is Buzz Lightyear. It is such a fun ride. There is a lot to do for adults. My wife and I love a day at the parks without the kiddies.

Hi crzykid and welcome to the DIS. The best thing about going to MK is this- it's the absolute best place to soak up the Disney Magic atmosphere. I think most people would agree that lpve it or hate it, MK just really gives you that Disney feeling. There is plenty to do there for adults, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean. There are lots of things to snack on and don't forget the fireworks at night.

I cannot even imagine any WDW park as being JUST for kids. I am 50 years old, and I don't have any kids at all, yet I take my annual December trip SOLO . Yes...Buzz Lightyear is totally delightful for adults. Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Carousel of Progress, are all wonderful, just to name a few. Sometimes I get a bit upset with people who just assume that the Magic Kingdom is just for kids.
Oh My Gosh.......If only people really knew.......there's so much for adults to do........and there's barely enough time to do it all.
Oh ! And the Haunted Mansion is terrific, too. I could go on and on......

Have a great time !

Hubby and I get quite competitive with each other on that ride!

At night you can also go to Downtown Disney & Pleasure Island or Epcot or The Boardwalk area. There's tons to do. We went without our kids once and tried to make it to Pleasure Island, but we were just too... exhausted. i don't think you'll have any trouble occupying your time.
