Magic Kingdom walk times

Can you help me figure out approximate walk times? It will be Spring Break, so probably large crowds.

1) How long to get from front gate to Mine Train?

2) How long to get from the HEA Dessert Party Garden Plaza View to Big Thunder Mountain after fireworks are over?

Thanks! Bonus if you give me a suggested route

You can look up walk times between attractions on Google maps. It will give you the best route, as well.

Actually I just tried it from Tomorrowland Terrace and it said 24 minute walk. That can't be correct.

When the fireworks end, it's a madhouse in the hub. You will not be able to get anywhere quickly right after the fireworks end.

If you don't have a touring plans subscription, you should get one. You can plug in any attractions or locations on property in customizable plans and it will calculate the walking time based on how crowded it is forecasted to be at that time / day. You can even adjust to whether you walk at a relaxed, regular, or fast pace! We loved this feature on our last trip - and it was very accurate

Actually I just tried it from Tomorrowland Terrace and it said 24 minute walk. That can't be correct.

I just did it with dropped pins, and it says 7 minutes.

But honestly, you are overthinking this. From anywhere in Magic Kingdom to anywhere else is less than 10 minutes under most conditions, 15 if it’s crowded. If your touring plan needs anything more exact than that, you are setting yourselves up for frustration, when things don’t go exactly to plan.

Thanks for your help. Not looking for an exact time, just trying to get a general idea with the hub madness. I’ve never been during spring break so I’m just not sure how long it will take to get from point a to point b. Also, don’t know if it’s a bad idea in general to try to cross through the hub after fireworks. I’ll go with a 15 minute time frame in mind. Thanks again!

I would, personally, not try to cross over the hub. I would leave the terrace and cut through tomorrowland, through fantasyland and over to Big Thunder. It is a longer route but you will be going against the crowd through the hub and I would take longer, less crowded walking over that madness, but that's just me.

Dont be silly. Cut straight through the hub!! Going around counter clockwise is totally unnessarry (imo)

If you’re at the Garden Party HEA viewing party, you’re in the Hub area for the fireworks not Tomorrowland Terrace. You just have to work your way to the left side of hub then you can go to Adventureland or Liberty Square whichever is closer to get to Frontierland.

Front gate to Seven dwarves is about 10 minutes. Slightly shortly with able bodied adults at a good pace. Slightly longer if you are pushing a giant double stroller through the crowds

I would figure at least 15 after the fireworks to get to big thunder and I would definitely veer up around the castle then circle down into Frontierland via liberty square
