Magic Kingdom to WCC

We are spending the day at Magic Kingdom and have 5:20 dinner reservations at WCC. We plan to leave MK around 4:30. Which would be the quickest mode of transporation--boat or bus? We would like to check in at WCC no later than 5pm. Thanks!

Nicest: boat to WL from MK

Quickest/coolest : bus, A/C inside (not raining from the afternoon rain) and about 4 min ride.... esp if in the summer;


I have stayed at the WL a few times and love the boat--- but the heat/exhaustion factor causes me to take the bus (and never was crowded either)

The boat is very quick and easy. My memory may be fuzzy but I don't even remember there being a bus to WL from MK. We always took the boat.

There is also a bus now; if the OP wishes to leave the park around 4:30 and arrive at the WL podium by 5, bus would be best - especially if the above timing is correct (and I don't doubt it). But that's four minutes from when the bus departs - if you justmiss a bus and have to wait about twenty minutes for the next one, then that bus doesn't depart immediately (e.g. maybe one or two Guests in wheelchairs need to board; maybe the bus needs to depart at a certain time), they may not make it by 5.

I think the boat is the fastest, simply due to the lack of a wait. The boat is a non-stop trip. We just missed a boat on Sunday (got there as the Capt. was roping everything off) and only waited 5 minutes for the next one. You get a good view of the GF, Poly, Cont, you float over the Water Bridge... excellent.

Be prepared to be STUFFED at WCC. And entertained.

We have stayed at WL several times. Prefer the boat over the bus. But with any mode of transport, even that close to WL from MK, allow 45 mins to get from point A to B.
