We're considering spending a few hours at MK and then take the boat over for our 4:00 HDDR. A couple questions:

1. We're picking up our tickets, so I know we need to be there around 3:15. So what time should we plan on being at the boat? How long does it take to get from Adventureland to the boat on a busy summer day? How long is the boat ride?

2. WHERE do we pick up the tickets?

3. Do you think it would be too much to be at MK at 9:00, take probably a 45-60 minute lunch break around 11 or 12 (we're planning on packing a lunch and hanging out on Tom Sawyers Island) and then head to HDDR? Will we be too tired?

I would say the physical boat ride is anywhere from 15-20 minutes. I would start walking out of the park at 2:15. That should give you more then enough time to get to the front of the park, get a boat and the boat ride.

Right outside HDDR there will be a ticket booth to the left. You can get your will call tickets there.

I don't know the ages of the people in your party but that would be a normal day for us, maybe even shorter because you will be out of HDDR between 6:30 and 7pm because they have more then 1 show. I would say you would be fine but if the heat effects you then it might be a long day.

Leave MK a little after two to two fifteen. The tix are near restrooms at Pioneer hall where HDDR is held. It's not a long boat ride but may stop at the Lodge first 10-15 minutes. You may end up waiting 10-15 for a boat though. If you're there too early you can go to the store to shop, walk behind
the hall to the fence where River Country used to be or check out the horses and other animals.
