So basically, we're strongly thinking about dropping our ADR for Crystal Palace the day we go to MNSSHP since Pooh and friends will be meeting and greeting anyway during the party. The reservations are for 3:55 and I'm quickly realizing that we'll have to be in line for Jack and Sally no later than by that time since they come out at 5:00 or suffer through a wait that wouldn't otherwise be worth it during the party. We'll be at MK for 2 days during our trip so we have some flexibility for the table service reservation.

So that brings the question as to what table service should we use that credit for? We've looked for Crystal Palace ADR for the other day but with have had no luck. Right now, we're leaning towards either Skipper Canteens, Liberty Tree Tavern, or Tony's Town Square for either lunch that day or lunch/dinner the other day we're at MK. Any opinions on them? Or opinions on others that we could get ADR's for?

I really like Skipper Canteen but some guests think the food is too adventurous. You know your crowd best so if you’re sure then menu will work, that’s what I’d go with.

If not, then I’d choose Liberty Tree Tavern.

Also, if you’re interested in leaving MK and/or a breakfast instead, I like the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at GF.

We're actually doing breakfast both mornings that we go to MK....one at O'hana and the other at Chef Mickey's.

I'm the pickiest eater of our crew but could make the steak work at Skipper Canteen.

Sounds like breakfast is covered! 1900 Park Fare does have a dinner as well but I haven’t been so I can’t comment on it.

DH and I went to Skipper Canteen on a whim to avoid a monsoon last week and it was really great.

Get Liberty Tree Tavern for around 3 or 3.30. We did this last year when my neighbor's granddaughter want her picture with them. During our meal we watch them set up the stantions as we ate. When we finished she got in line (she was about number 30) I think they came out around 6 and she was done by 7.

The "Tastes Like Chicken" at Skipper Canteen is pretty much fried chicken if that works for you. It's been a couple years, but I want to get it again.

We had a good experience at Skipper Canteen in April.....lots of cool decor....sat in the S.E.A room and our server, Darrin, was fantastic with the jungle cruise type humor. He had a pun for everything! While I can't say the food was anyone's favorite, no one went hungry 8-)

Well things always seem to work out in the end. A lunch opening at The Crystal Palace opened up for our other day at MK so we jumped on it. That will free us up for a late lunch or early dinner with snacks for the day of MNSSHP. Thanks for the input on the other places!

Definitely not Tony's.... Liberty Tree is good food and a nice atmosphere. I'm going to try Skipper Canteen next year for the first time.
