Which are your favorites? Yeah, I know, probably done to death, this topic, but were looking for a few different restaurants in MK and need help. Were considering Tonys, Crystal palace & CRT. Are their any others I should take into consideration while doing my planning? Even small places. Were doing deluxe dining, and plan on going to MK at least 3 days! Thanks

My opinion? There is nowhere worth eating inside the Magic Kingdom. I mean, if you don't want to leave the parks, I'd say Liberty Tree Tavern is the best sit down joint in the park, but it's really the only one worth the cost, even factoring the Disney upcharge.

Personally, I'd say that, if you can manage it, you'd find a much better meal and dining experience in one of the monorail resorts.

Full Service dining is MK is pretty bad, but I would choose Liberty Tree Tavern.

Counter Service, on the other hand, is fantastic in MK. Some of my favorites are Cosmic Ray's and Peco's Bills

Liberty Tree Tavern is the best meal at MK IMO.

We usually don't do a meal here. We only go one day per trip (kids getting older) and always do early entree day and get through the park by mid-afternoon.

We like to do breakfast at Kona (awesome!), or we hit the Main Street bakery first thing (That'll fill you up for awhile), then grab a QS during the day (some good ones mentioned by the PP) and make plans for a sit down meal after we leave. It's a good day for us to hang at poly for awhile and do Ohana.

We went to all 3 you listed on our trip last December and we liked them all. My favorite is CRT- there is just something about eating in the castle- and Princesses are a priority for DD. We've done lunch there our last 2 trips. We've done lunch at Crystal Palace our last 3 trips. We did dinner at Tony's our last trip. I was a little worried because there were some bad reviews, but we really liked it. Yes, it is about an Olive Garden level, but Hey...I kind of like Olive Garden.

Just remember it is park food no matter what way you look at it but it is ok, you wont get sick from it and if you wanna stay in he park you dont have a choice, have fun no matter where you pick, its all the same. I think your better off to go to a resort, to me food is alot better Have a FUNtastic time no matter where you dine and don't let the food be the major part of your trip:santa:

LTT is really good! The kids liked it too.

We also enjoyed Tony's. We had a fantastic steak there. I didn't have to smoother it in A1 or chew it like crazy! But I didn't like the lasagna that much even though DH loved it. Everything else was delicious!

If you are not looking for anything fancy, The Plaza is very good. I do love the Crystal Palace if you are looking at doing a buffet. We have done both breakfast and dinner there, and both meals were very good.

I have to agree with people who said Liberty Tree Tavern. We had dinner there and it was my hushands favorite dinner.

Liberty Tree Tavern is the best meal at MK IMO.

I have to agree with this. We went here for lunch when we were there in September and just loved everything about the place. We have dined there before back when the characters were there for dinner, so it has been a while, plus this was our first time for lunch. We are planning on returning here for our May trip and I cannot wait to get the Colony Salad again

I have been to Liberty Tree Tavern, Tony's Town Square and The Plaza. If I was to rank my favorites #1 would be Liberty Tree Tavern, #2 Tony's Town Square and #3 The Plaza.

We love Crystal Palace! The food is surprisingly good for a buffet and the restaurant is pretty. Most people like the Pooh characters too.

As for the other restaurants in the Magic Kingdom...meh, not very good. I recommend that you try to book something at one of the monorail hotels: the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, or the Contemporary. You'll have lots of great choices there, especially since you're on the deluxe dining plan.

Let us know what you decide to do!

Crystal Palace #1. Love the food. Love the Characters. Love that DS isn't going to give me a hard time about stopping all the fun stuff at MK to sit down for lunch..... cause Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore are there.

We ate at Liberty Tree twice last trip. Pot roast very good. Desserts good. Convenient location. Tony's good in 2008 for lunch but stuck to spaghetti and meatballs. I'd go to either again, but neither one is exciting.

There are lots of restaurants for lunch and dinner not far from MK if you can take a quick break -- at the Polynesian, Contemporary, and Grand Floridian resorts. I like all of them.....

The Crystal Palace is always good - DH & I always find the food yummy. It is very noisy and crowded though and because it is a character buffet, there are a million children around.

We were not impressed with LTT - we come from New England and have really good old fashioned inns/restaurants with traditional "New England" food so we were just "eh" about it.

I always like going to the resorts. You can hop on the Monorail and then head back to MK. Ohana has a great all you can eat dinner, with activities for the kids.

There is a restaurant next to the ice cream shop on the way up to noodle terrace. Simple sandwich and burger place but very good.

Make sure you book the Fireworks Dessert Party at Noodle Terrace. It is an all you can eat dessert buffet in the front seating of Noodle Terrace by the water. You have great view of the fireworks while enjoying desserts.

Have fun.

I would say Crystal Palace. Sure, it's a character meal, but it's got some nice Mediterranean inpsired options.

There are a lot of people on here pushing for LTT...and I couldn't disagree more. Yea- it's all personal preference, but I've been twice and IMHO, you're paying Disney prices for food on par with Stouffer's frozen food/meals. I'll eat CS burgers and chicken nuggets before I'd return to LTT.
