Magic Kingdom Parking Access from the North?

I'm trying to figure out the best way to access the MK and the rest of WDW from just north of the park, but google maps keeps sending me all the way around to the south of the TTC. I have always stayed on property so I've never worried about it, but I know people have mentioned on here that they can get to the TTC from their house in 5 minutes. Which roards are open to the public, and is there another entrance to the parking lot other than the main one you drive in from the south of World Drive? I'm specifically wondering about Centre drive and the norther parts of Floridian Way and World Dr.

Basically, I'm just trying to figure out the fastest ways to get to MK. Is it from Reams Rd/Centre or from taking one of the highways from the East or the West, meaning the quickest access to the parks come from those directions?

Yes, you can get to the MK parking lot if entering from Center Drive. Just turn right at the stop sign and follow Floridian Way. When you get to the Car Care Center look for a small road on your left to get you to the main lot.

This is only convenient if you are staying in one of the various new developments in that area. If you're not there, this is probably not the best way to get to the TTC.

If you accidentally drive past the turnaround opposite the Car Care Center, please do not stop and back up. There is a 2nd turnaround about half-way to the Epcot exit.

I'm not seeing anywhere to turn left. It looks like it forces you to get on World Dr. going south once you get to the Car Care center. Does this bypass the entry gate, meaning you wouldn't have to pay for parking?

It's a small road that may not appear on maps, but you can see it on satellite views like Bing maps or Google maps. There's just a small sign which says, I think, "Magic Kingdom Parking". You will veer to the left shortly before you pass by the toll booths on the way out of the MK area.

Shhhh. It's a secret.

Lol. I'll have a season pass anyway, but it seems like a strange oversight by Disney. Maybe that's why they do it though. They assume the only people coming in that way will be locals, most of whom are pass holders anyway.

I went in that way my first day last month. Well, I actually came on from Vista but worked my way around Seven Seas Drive to Floridian Way to enter as you would. I had no trouble finding the entrance.

If you stay in any of the hotels on Palm Parkway this is the fastest route into the Parks, Last Fall I stayed at the Clarion and used it everyday. The first time I realized that it missed the Parking Toll booth I was surprised, but I am a Passholder.

Not seeing how that could be the case. It would take you way out of the way to get to the parks from there.

Palm parkway becomes SR535 there are only about 3 or 4 stoplights on a 4 lane residential street to Vista Blvd. Follow the loop around the parking lot to go to MK or DAK or turn south on Bonnet Creek to get to Epcot or DHS, Much faster than past DTD on Hotel Plazza Blvd/Buena Vista Dr. or hopping on and back on I-4 to Epcot Center Dr. It really seems faster at night as there is NO traffic.

Yes, we stayed at Cypress Point and went 535/Vista a couple of times when we went to MK & the Contemporary and then home from the Contemporary. It was usually just me and a couple of buses on Vista.
