We are a party of 9 (7 adults, DD who is 4, and DS who is one). We'll be hitting MK on our first day, and I would like some advice on my tentative park plan for the day. I'm guessing we'll move at a snail's pace. Also I think we'll be able to skip the M&G with Anna and Elsa since while DD likes the music, she doesn't care that much about the princesses themselves.

Currently this is what I am thinking:
-----
Breakfast, 8:15am reservation at Crystal Palace

Head over to Fantasyland, do Ariel M&G and ride, dumbo, the carousel, teacups etc

Then head up to the front of the park and do Monsters Inc, M&G with Tink and whatever else is in the area that strikes our fancy. Things that are more indoors with AC!

Somewhere around 11:30 or noon we'll either find lunch and then head back for a rest at the hotel, or just head back to the hotel for lunch and rest.

Come back into the park for 3pm BBB reservation and then early dinner at the Castle around 4pm.

After dinner try and hit Small World, Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise.

Probably out of the parks by 6:30-7pm.

Does this sound reasonable? What would our best bets be for using our fastpasses? Any recommendations? I was thinking the M&G with Tink for one, and maybe Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise for the others?

That looks like a good plan. Usually the wait for Ariel is longer than Tink, but if you are heading to Ariel soon after RD, it would be better to FP the afternoon. The Haunted Mansion usually isn't a long wait and there is plenty to look at in the line, so based on the rest of your selections I would FP Peter Pan instead.

I'd suggest doing FP for Winnie and Friends after doing Little Mermaid stuff and Dumbo. Lines seem to get long for that quickly, and that would be a good one for young children.

What resort are you staying at? Leaving at noon and back for a 3pm
Reservation? Doesn't leave much time for the break?

We're at Bay Lake Towers, I was figuring it wouldn't be too bad to pop over for two hours or so for naps.
