Magic Kingdom Opened on This Day!!!

Surprised no one has noted this, but....

On October 1, 1971 Walt Disney World and the Magic Kingdom were officially opened!!!

Happy 36th Birthday to WDW...was anyone there on that day???

I remember my first trip to the Magic Kingdom during the spring of 1972...been hooked ever since!

Also, 25 years ago today at 10:01AM EPCOT opened!!
