Since I live close, I was going to take my DD2 over to MK (to ride some of the rides we missed) and Epcot (for the hot dogs at Sommerfest) for the day.

How busy are the parks during the week, say on Tuesday or Wednesday, during this time?

Since I live close, I was going to take my DD2 over to MK (to ride some of the rides we missed) and Epcot (for the hot dogs at Sommerfest) for the day.

How busy are the parks during the week, say on Tuesday or Wednesday, during this time?

There's another active thread (titled "When is Christmas break in your area" or something to that effect) on this board, with people discussing when their local school system takes its CHRISTMAS break (I repeat, CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS break). A lot of the sunbelt types are chiming in to the effect that their last day of school is this Friday (12/16), with vacation running until the first Tuesday or even Wednesday in January.

Therefore, I would expect the unruly mobs at WDW to start growing this Saturday, and be well into in full court press all-parks-getting-ridiculously-busy by Sunday, staying jammed to the walls until after New Years.

Consequently, the middle of next week may not be such a pleasant time to visit.
