Magic Kingdom Monorail

We are heading out to Disney for a week on Friday and I was reading on different websites that the monorail isn't running a full schedule at the minute. It says on one website that it begins at 7:30am from the transportation and ticket centre and will close 1 hour after the park. Whereas on another website it says it does not begin from the transportation and ticket centre until 9:30am and everyone will have to either use the boat or resort buses. Can someone please confirm which of these is true, if either?

I too would like to know if the monorail is up and running as it should as well.
Last time we were there we had to take the boat from the poly to the MK because the monorail was not running. We will be back on December 10-14 and would like to take the monorail not the boat from the poly esp on early opening days (so running at or before 730 am for an 8:00 opening)

Express Monorail 8:30 am till 1 hour after MK closure.

The express monorail goes from the TTC through the Contemporary (no stop) to the MK stop. The resort monorail goes TTC > Poly > GF > MK > Contemporary, stopping at each.

I think the Epcot monorail starts one hour before opening.

The express monorail has stops only at the TTC and MK.
The Epcot monorail is a different monorail that runs between the TTC and Epcot.

We just came back and went to MK on Sunday and Thursday of this week. We stayed off-site so were looking to take the express. Neither of the days we were there between 8:30-9:00 in the morning was it running yet and we had to take the ferry over. I'm not sure what time it started running.

We have an ADR at Crystal Palace for 8am (MK opens at 9am)....from the TTC, which would get us there the quickest - the resort monorail or the ferry?

If their Ferry is their take the Ferry if not get on the monorail.
