Our last day is at the Magic Kingdom with plans to eat at 'Ohana for dinner. I'm tossing up between the Plaza or Skipper Canteen for lunch - unless anyone has any other suggestions? We are 4 20somethings who will eat anything. We will be doing BOG for dinner on our first night so no need to go back.

Thanks for your thoughts :)

The Plaza is cheaper but, if the menu appeals, Jungle Skipper is much, much, much better IMHO.

what time is your dinner? i would not eat a sit down meal less than 6 hours before your 'Ohana ADR.

I would pick skippers, I think the food is a bit lighter or you could do all apps if the timing is too close. Plaza menu seems so heavy to me.

Cosmic Rays for a burger and fries may be all you need with a big meal planned for dinner

We really enjoy both, but of the 2 I'd go with Skippers. A. they have adult beverages and b. you can share a bunch of their amazing appetizers and desserts and still have room for Ohana!

I think I'm in the minority but I love Plaza a lot more than Skippers. Mostly the design probably (I love art nouveau!) but I've always loved their menu. Could be a nice pairing with Ohana monetarily as well since Ohana is a bit on the pricier (but totally worth it) side. :cutie:

I agree with the above statement, I'm a huge Plaza fan. They have some nice light options so you aren't too full for dinner and it's such a cute place to take a break for a little.

I would try to do a quick service for lunch since you are eating at Ohana for dinner. You don't want to still be full when you get to Ohana so you can enjoy everything there. Ohana is wonderful

I'd probably go a step further .... Liberty Tree Tavern for the Colony Salad and an Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. Not too much but def enough.

Skippers! Love their Whole Fried Fish and the Theme. Eat a early lunch.

I would do Plaza if I had to pick a TS. Ohana is VERY filling, so you don't want to load up on a heavy lunch.

Really depends on which menu looks better and what type of food you like as they are very different menus.
We love Skippers, bu then again we love the bad Jungle Cruise jokes and the decor.
