Magic Kingdom Late Night EMH - Food Options?

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but in the 5-6 months I've been researching this trip I can't remember seeing any info on this specifically?

What food options are open in the Magic Kingdom during late night EMH? Our first night at Disney we're going to have dinner at Boma around 6pm and then head over to Disney World to enjoy the EMH which lasts till 2am. It occurred to me as I was rechecking and tweaking our ADR's that considering we'll be on the plane before lunch, won't be fed while flying, and probably won't get any food between landing and dinner at Boma - we may very well be hungry again before we get back to our hotel room anywhere in the midnight-3am range. At that point I know most of the food options except the one bar at CSR will be closed. Looking at the menus - the only option I know for certain will be open is the Main Street Bakery. I assume the MS Confectionary will stay open also because there's no point in having EMH and not trying to sell people stuff. But I have no idea if any of the Counter Service Restaurants will be churning out sandwiches and other food that night. I assume some of the Ice Cream or Pretzel and Snack options will stay open. Does anybody have any experience getting a CS meal or snack at MK in the 10pm - 2am time frame?

I know a lot of the main food places are closed but the Bakery, Ice Cream parlour, the confectionary shop on Main Street are open.

The Dole whip place next to PoftC is open, I remember seeing the Turkey stall open and the McDonalds chips and snack stall open.
I think if I remember Cosmic Rays Starlight cafe was open.

That's all I can think of. Have fun though.

When I was there in October 2011, we were told to go to Cosmic Rays. Peco Bills and Columbia Harbour House were closed during EMH.

We have been for many 3am EMH's and the only thing ever open (other than the Bakery) is Cosmic Ray's and while open from 1-3 they seemed to only serve whatever was leftover as we were unable to order anything on at least 2 visits that i remember. Honestly, the last several times we did this we were lucky and were staying at GF and just went back and ordered room service. I think many things are open until at least 10 and some other until 11 but the later you wait there is almost nothing. I have never understood having the park open with nothing for people to eat.

Very little is open at any park that offers pm EMH's. Cosmic Ray's, Pecos Bill was open while we watches the Electrical Parade but that was about it. Not an ice cream, not an egg roll, nothing! Same and even possibly worse at DHS, unless you want to chance ABC COmmissary (Yuck).

I know that this isn't the time frame when a park earns the most bucks but they should have more food options available!

Thanks so much! A few of those locations have something we'd eat and if nothing else there is Main Street Bakery. If we get to the resort in good time and our room is available (and we have time before we pick up the rental car) I may grab something from the Cafe there and put it in the fridge in the room. I'll also remind hubby sooner vs later if he thinks he's going to get hungry.

The times guide doesn't give the whole picture, though. In March we were there for a 3am EMH and most of the places in the times guide closed at 1am. The bakery will still be open but will only have whatever is left from the day - by the time we were leaving, that was only their vegetarian sandwich, plain croissants, and the non-bakery items (fruit, drinks, kids' uncrustables), and the place was PACKED. We ended up with bananas, smoothies, and popcorn...

Next time we plan on a very late EMH we'll plan ahead and pick something up to have waiting for us in our room fridge, because the options after midnight or 1 at the MK are just bad.

There was 8 of us in October and we had to split 3 pretzels. It was either that or bananas; even the popcorn was gone.

The only time I've eaten a hot dog in the last 10 years has been at Casey's on an EMH night. It tasted pretty darn good, both times!

A hot dog once in a while is a fun treat. It's also quick and doesn't interfere with the fun.

I'm thinking packing a few snacks in our carry-on's won't be a bad idea :lol: I normally pack a few granola bars or something in case I need to take one of my painkillemrs on an empty stomach, or we get stranded in some airport. So perhaps a few more just in case. I'm pretty sure we'll fill up at Boma, and if worst comes to worst - we might actually see a Pepper Market breakfast the next morning! Thanks again everyone!
