We are going to Florida in June with our children and I seem to remember that last time we went there was a 'Gay Pride' day at the Magic Kingdom that we would want to miss this time.
Does anyone know when it it? Or where I could find out?

It's traditionally the first Saturday in June, but there's a whole week of "stuff" surrounding that one big day. There's a website. It's www.gayday.com (or something similar), and it'll tell you where the big parties are during that time period. You can easily avoid the main brunt of this celebration.

HI I am going to WDW June 2. My itinerary is Friday MK, Sat. AK, Sun Epcot,Mon MGM I went to the website for Gay Day and their schedule is MGM Thurs, Epcot Fri., Islands of Adventure Sat., (no clue what that place is), Sunday is MK and Mon., is AK. So lucky for me I missed each one. :)

The way our schedule works out, we sometimes end up going the same weekend as Gay Day. If you don't go to the same park that the group goes to, you won't see that much extra crowding. Just work around their schedule!

There is another website which I think is more "official" than the other:
http://gaydays.com/calendar/
The first Saturday in June is Gay Day at MK--that is the only park where the crowd levels are affected by Gay Days in our experience but then we avoid MK on Saturdays during our stay anyway. We have been to WDW the past two years during this time and have not really experienced any heavy crowds any where else. They will typically open a couple of the other parks early that particular Saturday.

IOA is at Universal Studios. My whole family is also attending Universal and Disney the week of Memorial Day. Monday and Tuesday is Universal (depending on the weather depends on Universal or IOA). Wednesday is AK, Thurs. is Epcot, MGM is Fri (my dad says that Mark Hamill - Luke Skywalker - will be there that day, but the schedule isnt out yet!?). and Sat is MK, so we can see Spectromagic. We totally miss the Gay Pride days, and my dad is so glad about that.
