Hi there! We really want to top off our wedding day with fireworks and would love a dessert party or a fireworks cruise. We really want the fireworks to be Wishes because we got engaged after the show so it holds great sentimental value to us. My only issue with a cruise is the number of guests we will have - 20 to 25 - and i know there are limits of the numbers you can have on the boat. So, a dessert party is the other option. I heard about dessert parties in the Magic Kingdom at the Noodle Station last year. Anyone know if these are continuing? Can't seem to find anything on Disney's website. I have been told about Sago Cay for a Wishes dessert party. Can anyone tell me how good the view is for the fireworks? Can you have the music? Anyone done this and recommends it? Any advice is much appreciated!! Thanks! xx

Here are some links to some fantastic information regarding Sago Cay. Not sure whether or not the MK dessert party will still be on, and keep in mind that you can't wear your dres into the parks...I had originally wanted to do the Wishes DP, but decided since I only get to wear my dress once I wanted to keep it on all day and night, so am going with Sago Cay!

The Magic Kingdom's Wishes dessert party is coming back in a few weeks after they refurbish the Noodle Station Terrace. We went last month - I would not recommend it as a wedding-day activity unless you had a really small group and didn't mind having to change into street clothes and share the party with dozens of other people. Plus, the price is about $24/person now, and you could have a very nice private party at Sago Cay for that! :thumbsup2

Oh right. How come you can wear your wedding dress to a dessert party in Epcot but not the Magic Kingdom? So i'm guessing it's not a private area you can book then if other families are there? I'm thinking there's probably gonna be about 20 of us now so i may book 2 pontoon boats (if that's possible) instead and have a Wishes Cruise. Thanks for your advice.

Exactly - they don't offer private parties in the Magic Kingdom. The Wishes DP there is open to the public. The reason you can wear your dress in Epcot is that you are paying for a private party.
