Magic Kingdom at night, some questions!

Hi,

We are scheduled to arrive 10/25 (Wednesday) in the morning, staying at Polynesian. We have 6:00 reservations at Skipper Canteen then will go on rides after, last year park open until 11 on the Wednesday...(can't decide if we want to attempt HEA or not. I thought I wanted to, but I really don't want to waste park time waiting for a show, we are not really show people )

Questions:

1. Splash is closed - fast pass for Thunder Mountain, Mine Train and ??? - what's one more good one to schedule?
2. Is Jungle Cruise open at night on non-party nights?
3. Is People Mover pretty easy to get on at night?
4. Any rides you suggest riding at night?

It depends on what you want to ride. I would probably FP Space or Peter Pan depending on interest. JC should be open. Yes, People Mover should be fairly easy. Astro Orbiter is pretty cool at night, but the line is always awful!

We are going to the party the next night. I want to see the queue for Peter Pan, so we are going to attempt that during the first (or second) parade at the party - whichever one we don't watch. Then fast pass it on another MK day.

Maybe Jungle Cruise at night would be good for a fast pass?

Jungle Cruise is fun at night...we prefer it to daytime.

1 since you have two roller coaster why not space mountian

3 for the most part yes unless something happens like space motion breaks down then the line could be long, but most of the time it is a walk on.

4 what ever you feel like some times the out door rides are a little different at night like astro orbiters

Me too, I guess, cuz I love Pirates more at night too. Maybe because you can hear the area music better at night? Anyway, we also like Dumbo at night; the lights and fountains are so pretty.

I never thought of Dumbo! Two adults, but who cares right?!?

Just know that that all rides aren't open during evening EMH. We made that mistake and missed out on riding Jungle Cruise and the People Mover, which we wanted to experience after dark.

We like the Jungle Cruise at night, and I often schedule it for one of our FP because sometimes the line can be long.
And I love that you mentioned People Mover...it might sound silly, but it's one of my favorite things to do at night in the MK because I love riding around and getting the birds eye view of Tomorrowland all lit up in Neon.

We love the Jungle Cruise at night as well.

That's my vote for FP #3. That queue does back up and you're going on a Wednesday between two Halloween parties. It'll be quite busy that night.

Another attraction to try out at night is Swiss Family Treehouse...just bc you can see all the lights once you've climbed up.

This is what we're doing. We also have reservations for Skipper Canteen and since we're in that area, we're going to do Pirates, Jungle Cruise, etc; after dinner. I fast passed both of them as we're not getting there until the afternoon that day. We're hoping to stay for fireworks, but we'll see how the little guy is doing and whether he gets too cranky!
