Magic Kingdom after cruise????

We are doing a cruise mid Sept and will be going 3 days early...we bought a one day ticket to Epcot and are going to resort hop and do Disney Springs and relax on the other days! We have been to the parks a lot and liked the Halloween Party, my daughter loved it! That would be a less expensive way to do MK. Like the previous poster said maybe nap first and then go.

We have a similar dilemma next spring. We arrive early AM the morning before our cruise and we leave late at night the day after (these times were by far cheaper than other flights). So I'm debating if we will get park tickets or not. We do WDW quite often so I've considered just hanging out at the pool and doing Disney Springs. But if I can fit another trip in either before or after, I'll probably go ahead and get APs so we would have our tickets. I'm a total sucker and I love having an annual pass.

We did this a few years ago and would not do it again. Very similar situation. Driving to florida for a four night disney cruise and we thought wouldn't it be fun to add on a day ahead of time. Then we thought wouldn't it be fun to add two days ahead of time. As you said, basically no discount on the second day, and the two days ended up being so stressful that we really wish we had not spent the money. You end up in a situation where you are trying to get it all in and it just isn't possible. There is an extent to which we felt we set ourselves up for failure. Dramatic, but we did feel that way. We said we should have just put the wdw money towsrd a seven night cruise. The next year we did disney springs (or as we call it downtown disney) and hung out at the disney resort pool the day before our four night cruise. Really perfect. The following year, we did a week at wdw before a 3 night cruise. Thay also worked very well. The wdw portion of the trip was actually more fun than the cruise. Whatever you decide- you will have fun.
