I see that you can purchase Magic key in November. Is it worth it? Would I be able to get tickets or are they hard to get? I just want the Imagine. can you go on weekends? I am trying to get some information on it.

Imagine does not include any weekend days.

https://disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/blockout-dates/ has the blockout dates. The imagine key has all weekend dates blocked out.

For the Imagine key price, if you are planning on visiting the parks 5 or more times, it can be worth it.

If you mean whether it's hard to get reservations, it has been gotten easier, however, it can get difficult if you wait too long. If you look at the above link, and choose Imagine, you can see how many days in the next few months are available and how many have no reservations available even if the day is not blocked. Please note that reservations can be become available suddenly for days that were not available.

Is it worth it?
-Depends on how often you go. I'd say to make it worthwhile you need to go at least once every 3 months. If you're going for a Believe Key you should probably double that.

Are tickets hard to get?
-Depends on the month. Holidays typically sell out faster, as do special events (like Tiana's Bayou Adventure opening). January/February and the Summer months tend to be slower, Halloween and Christmas the busiest, with Easter not far behind.

I just want the Imagine. Can you go on weekends?
-No. Imagine is strictly blacked out for weekends, Holidays and the Summer. If you want Weekends you need to look into a Believe key.

Imagine works for me generally because I prefer to go on a Tuesday or Wednesday when the crowd generally more tame. I also don't like going during the hotter months, so the only thing I miss out on is weekends and Holidays, which I can live without. And I never make more than 2 reservations ahead of time. But your mileage may vary depending on what you want out of your key.

Like I said, if you want Weekends, you pretty much have to commit to the Believe key. It also comes with far less blackout days (though still some significant ones).

Worth is if it will pay for itself vs your ticket visits. Imagine is the So Cal Resident basic magic key with mainly weekdays. Go to the magic key portal and look at each key’s calendar and benefits to see if any are a fit for you. Reservations are not difficult if plan ahead.

yes I do live in Southern California. I don't like that it isn't good on weekends or holidays but I am still trying to figure it out.

Depending on the Magic Key purchased will have a percentage off or free parking and which lot where discount applies. You will scan your magic key at the parking booth. Pay the difference then or if have Inspire Key pay nothing. A parking receipt is received. Daily Lightning Lane purchases can be made once you and party have scanned into a park.
