Magic Key expiration question

We decided to upgrade our park tickets to a Magic Key last September, and are planning another trip for this September. Our keys say they expire on Sept. 17, does that mean they will still be valid that day, or only through the day before? We are planning dates around Dave Avanzino being there that weekend, to be able to get another custom piece, and trying to figure out if we’ll be able to see him that Sat. or if it‘ll have to be Friday. This is the first year we bought “passes,” so I didn’t know how they typically expire, as far as the last accessible date. TIA!!

They are valid up to and including the date listed as the expiration. So your pass is still valid on September 17, but will cease being valid on September 18.

Ours expire on September 17 as well. I also have a park hopper that expires in December. Can I use the hopper and use that value towards the renewal???
