Magic Keepers (for Magic Bands 2)

Has anyone used Magic Keepers (the attachments for the Magic Band 2) with a lanyard? Did it work out well? Was it awkward using it at the scan points? Bonus for pictures.

If you used the Magic Keepers, but not with a lanyard how did you use it and did you like it?

I detest having water/sweat get under my Magic Band on my wrist, so I am wondering if this may be a good solution.

I used the lanyard one for my last two trips and loved it. My lanyard is on the longer side, its the same length that I use for work so falls in my mid-abdomen. It was the perfect height for me (am 5' 4" so YMMV). DH had the carabiner Magic Keeper and he liked it, but had to take it off his belt loop to scan it. I much preferred the lanyard.

I haven't used it in the parks yet (108 days!) but I purchased the mickey head magic keeper today to use with a lanyard or possibly with one of those string ID holder things to pull from my hip. My goal this trip is to try to go as bag free as possible so the lanyard option sounds perfect.

I used it on a lanyard. The lanyard was longer than I liked, so I used a stapler to make it shorter. (I stapled it near the top.)

I found it easier than wearing a Magic Band on my wrist - sometimes you have to twist your wrist to get the Magic Band at the right angle to use.

What a great idea! I'm panning on using a lanyard for my Magic Keeper but a retractable clip might work even better.

I had a badge reel from work i put mine on and loved it. Only thing in hindsight is to make sure it's secure when you are moving around, mine was newer and clipped to a different pocket on vacation and almost lost it once. But otherwise it was great, I hate watches and barely tolerated the MB on prior trips

I lost my band twice on my last trip, and after that I got the carabiner version of the Magic Keeper. I clipped it to my wristlet. I really liked it...no more missing band!

My DH uses this for his keys we were talking about him having one for Disney. what ones work well?

I had two Magic Keepers this past week at WDW. I put them on retractable reels and put flowers on the reel. I was surprised at how many people commented on it the entire trip.
