Sorry about the spelling errors above. I tried to edit them out but the site is acting a little strange.

So who has started getting their stuff organized. I started to put some of the stuff I will need in piles on my guest bed. I still have no suitcase, but I hope to have it back from the repair shop in a few days.....

Can we leave yet?

Calling For T-Storms in Orlando/Port Canveral Friday

I started getting the kids' clothes together early last week. I have my kids' clothing in separate stacks, along with a list of what they'll be wearing. I also have all of our bath stuff, travel-sized items, and extras together in my bathroom closet. I'll probably start packing tomorrow.

As for ME, I don't even have a formal yet!! Guess I better go find one!

My sister and dad, on the other hand... Ask them when they had their wardrobes planned. Okay, you don't have to ask. I'll tell you. My dad posted THIS on our family forum. The date of the post is August 15, 2007:
Do you have your packing list completed, noting what you will wear each day? I review mine every month or so.
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Double post! Even though I waited all day yesterday before trying to post again. ;-)

I have been having the kids and myself try on clothes for the last week, and today we put it all together! We always wait to the last minute because our dog....yes, our dog...gets depressed the minute she sees the suitcases and starts moping!! lol Can we say spoiled?

Our plan is to be completely finished by Tuesday...spend the day Wednesday going to lunch, getting manis/pedis, maybe seeing a movie, and just generally relaxing. Thursday morning we head to Florida!!!!! :woohoo:

I need a Bahama Mama....REAL BAD!!! :drinking1

Yes, my dad and I are efficient planners. Unfortunately, I started getting Daphne clothes about this time last year, and in the past three months she's had a growth spurt! She just turned 6 in November, but is wearing 7s now, so... on Thursday when she gets her final clue and realizes where we're going (if you want to follow that, I have the details in our trip report, to which there is a link in my sig line), we're going to have to do a quick wardrobe check for her. I don't have stuff out to pack yet because it will tip my hand. But I have the list and know where everything is, so it's just a matter of putting it in the correct bag and, boom, we're outie!

We are all packed as of last night (thanks to Ronald) and ready to go. I can almost smell that warm ocean breeze...no wait that smells more like a cosmo!!

My daughters are all packed now except for fancy dresses (these go in DH's garment bag.) I've tried on all my clothes and have decided exactly what I'm wearing everyday. Those clothes, except my fancy clothes, are in a pile in the guest room. DH is not packed at all, but that's the easiest part of packing. Magnetic signs are packed. Pirate costumes are packed. T-shirts for everybody in our group are packed. Pedicure was gotten on Saturday. Manicure will be gotten Wednesday. Cat sitter will visit tomorrow night to get the run-down. Dogs to the kennel on Thursday, then off to the airport Friday morning!:cool1:

Now they're showing 30% chance of rain in KW on Sunday. I'm thinking we'll be in the 70% of the area that DOESN'T have rain! ;)

yes, rain is not allowed! Especially since it's been raining here for days.

I'm so excited, and working is very hard this week!

T-storms too...:scared:

I want my white knuckle thrill ride.... and this better not stop it!

Sigh.... Cozumel Showing showers too. Not to mention Port Canaveral and Orlando. NO RAIN!!!!

I can barely take it..... All I think about at work is what do I need to get ready for my trip. I feel like I am absolutely useless.... I need to get away from Breaking News and get out there and see the Breaking Waves..... I need the R and R!!!!
