Thanks for posting the info on Palo Dan. It's so true. The sunset view from Palo is the best. We have the best pictures of the sunset from deck 10 when we were dining in Palo. And thanks for the help. Now I know what I have to pack for clothes for formal night :goodvibes I'll be checking in later this evening. Now, I have to go brave the 100+ heat

Good luck with that heat. We are under flood warning here. It has rained hard here for the last 24 hours:scared1:. Only in the last hour has it stopped.
I agree with the sunsets at Palo. We get the 6pm ressie so we can get a window table. Here is a pic from my last cruise.

At least you did not miss the race today. Rain, rain go away. And tomorrow's forecast for Watkins Glen is yes more rain. Tune in tomorrow. :happytv:

Yeah, i was hoping to use it to start on my FE gifts. The last part still has be dropped off, but the order is in. Took me way longer than I thought it would find what I wanted for them.

As for the race itself, doesn't bother me missing it. We flipped back and forth between the Nanny Marathon and ESPN waiting for a final decision. I always get lost with the road races anyhow.

We had quite a rainstorm last night ourselves. It was coming off our front awning in sheets when we dashed out to church last night:rotfl2: Was supposed to get heavy rain today, but only had a shower or 2. Clearing up now

Kyle Busch gets lost on the road course too. He'll be in the kitty litter after happy Harvick puts him there. :lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Rain, rain, go away. Oh wait I live in L.A. were it never rains unless it is Febuary.

Typical Colorado weather here, haven't had much rain in a while. But I just sent my son back to Philly, from what you are saying, he may get a little wet!

Time for my picture of the day, I believe this is the picture you were looking for!

Can't wait till I can see this view again.

Awwww....love, :lovestruc LOVE this picture! What a keeper! This is one for 20 years down the road to show him!
We won't be having a view like this :sad2:, but maybe I can 'tiptoe' in someone else's room and get a shot!:goodvibes

I've dreaming about this view.....it can't come fast enough. Work has been relentless.

IMG_3395.jpg

Sorry your work has been relentless! This summer has been a 'hard' one to be sure, so I think we all need this break! Not break...CRUISE!!! Can't wait to see that view! Come on Magic:banana::banana::banana:

Philly is in the clear right now. The NJ shore is getting hammered right now.:scared1: But the rain is supposed to return tonight into tomorrow. Sorry this is not LA (nice and dry) but we are also not worrying about any earthquake dumping us into the Pacific ocean either.

Actually, that photo was taken in one of the public areas of the ship. From the looks of it, I would say deck 3. You will have plenty of opportunities for great views like that one.

After all the discussion of formal night and what people wear, I thought I would show you that there are a few of us husbands who don't mind putting on some finer clothing one night on the cruise.

If I didn't bring along my tux, how would I get this photo with my buddy Goofy?

Wow!! Love the formal wear! You three look great!;)

Awww...don't blink or they'll be grown up...great pics! Hope you take these every time you cruise! When they're grown, what a keepsake! Precious!:goodvibes

I hear you. I don't have to blink anymore. They are growing like weeds now right in front of our eyes. How do you deal with it? Fortunately they still want to spend time with their parents but soon that will end except for requests for $$$ and keys. :scared1: Oh well we're going to enjoy them for a few more years. That's is probably why I have sooooo many pics. :lmao::lmao:

Well, I laugh:rotfl:, cry :sad2:, and do a whole lot of praying for my older two! Every vacation, I've told folks, "Oh, they won't want to come anymore"...and here they are...:rotfl2: at 23, and 24 still coming! And I'm like you are...took a ton of pics (though we didn't have quite the fancy stuff as now 10 years ago), take a ton of pics of everyone when I DO get them together, and enjoy every last second I can with them! Even when dh and I spent our 25th at Disney, the older two said "You're leaving Us?":rotfl:...I know..pitiful! But it still makes this mom happy! And since it'll STILL be awhile before we're 'empty-nesters' we're going to enjoy it as long as we can!!! :woohoo:
