We try and take at least one per year. This year we are taking 2 cause the Panama Canal was this year. The Hawaii cruise is on 4/29/12 for 15 nights.

Again Alan...WOW!!! I can't imagine a 15 nighter! It's hard for my dh to get 2 consequetive weeks together due to his job. I don't know how everyone does it! BUT, I'm hoping this just gets my dh's feet wet, that he loves it, and that it'll be the first of many!!! But CONGRATS for sure!:thumbsup2

My job gives me 4 weeks of vacation a calendar year. We do a vacation bid based on seniority. I am in the middle of that list. Fortunately my work group is only 40 people and most don't like to take their vacations as whole weeks. It is complicated.

Just wanted to share some happy news. We just booked the Hawaii cruise on the Wonder.

First of all....CONGRATS!!! But I am SO jealous!! We really like that itinerary, but our DDs college graduation falls right in the middle of the cruise :sad2: We really hope they do this cruise again!

I read yesterday that the head of DCL said this is a test cruise to gauge interest, so maybe again in 2013.

WOW, that is great. I would love to do the Hawaii cruise so I hope they decide to do that again in 2013. That would be wonderful to do that, that is if they ever let me leave work again.:lmao: I am the only one here and basically run the office since my co-worker has been out on med leave for about 8 months now.

That's why we are doing the Magic on the 8th. Simply because dh 'bid' on fall break, a semi-spring break, May break and a July break. He gets 5 weeks, and he's actually gotten 2 together in the summer before, but like you it really gets complicated. They can either bid 2 together and then it goes down the line or 2 apart and it goes down. Problem is, it's always a guess as to what week he gets! But so glad for all of y'all that get to do the longer cruises!!! After dh retires, maybe we can do it then!!
But ENJOY Hawaii!!!!:thumbsup2

:goodvibes:Just make sure they know that in 6 MONTHS from tomorrow, they'd better have someone to run it for you!!!!;)

That's great to hear!! And from what I'm hearing that most of the 11's are close to sold out, looks like there is interest! And it gives us some time to save up :thumbsup2

Gauge interest?

I've seen lots of requests for Hawaii over the past couple of years. I didn't think they'd have any problem selling it:lmao:

Congrats on getting it booked. I'd love to go, but I know even without seeing the prices that its out of my budget:sad1:

Maybe someday. I figure if I'm lucky they'll actually have some of 2013 open for booking on our cruise. But I'm not hopeful right now.

Well I think he should have said it is like a test cruise. I am so excited for this cruise I even had Hawaiian BBQ for dinner.

Good morning fellow cruisers. It is that time of the month again. Another month has gone by.
We now have only

Well lets see here.....

Took the dog for a walk, then went to Lowe's to get my new "Outdoor Drying system":lmao::rotfl2: aka umbrella clothesline kit.

Then it was a BJ"s Club run.

Now its doing AVON records for this year, so I don't fall behind. That's if I actually make any money this year:rotfl: I'm working at it, if anybody wants to help me make money let me know:rotfl2:

Also waiting for race to start in Texas:car:
