Thanks so Much! DH loves to take pics of us when he thinks we aren't looking!! The race game was cool!! And I'm not embarrased at all to be last. Well, maybe a little! How cool to have been in the college program!!

DAY THREE PART TWO ~ And for dessert, Off Kilter!

After our lovely lunch and a ride of the river of time in Mexico, we were off around the world. “Well, not really around the world. I’m talking about World Showcase”…. Is it bad that I know the entire Top Seven Must Sees at the WDW resort program by heart? I’m so jealous of Stacey! I’m sure I could do a better job. Just put me up at the Grand Floridian for a few days and I’d do a great job of riding rides, eating food, and talking to the camera. Couldn’t you?
As we continued on, I was still hungry and just plain grumpy. “Let’s get something sweet,” DH suggests. “Oh no, that’s too much money to spend,” I reply. I continue being a pain. “How about some German chocolate,’ Dh suggests. “Oh no, let’s spend our money on the kids,” I reply. Yet I continue to grump. By the time we got to America, DH had had enough of me and ordered an elephant ear for us to share. Best way to solve my grumpiness? Throw sugar at it. The man knows me too well. I don’t know why I don’t just give in in the first place. We also got a fried ice cream, which I loved. Here’s a pic!

Please note DH’s head is down. I don’t think he wanted any evidence of how ticked off he was getting at me.
With massive amounts of sugar now pumping through all our veins,we continue to make our way around. Soon we began to realize we had stumbled into “Princess Palooza”!! First we met up with Jasmine and Aladin. We had a lovely conversation about what kind of camel we used to get here. (No camel, an Impala )

In the garden next to France, we met up with Belle and Aurora. Here’s Em in awe. Belle is her favorite.

Here’s Aurora. I got into the picture next. Aurora said, “Of course 3 princesses” to which I replied, “Two princesses and a queen.” She looked at me like I had lost my mind. Does she not know royalty when she sees it?

Over the bridge into the United Kingdom, we saw Snow White. She’s my favorite!! I’ve loved her ever since I was little because she was a princess with dark hair. Not a lot of those around until recently. She was just as sweet as she could be. Right on in character.

By now Dh and I need a sit down so we let the kids run through the hedge maze in UK. I love to sit out there. It kind of feels like it’s away from it all. Soon it’s time for Off Kilter. I love them. They are so funny and talented. I wish I had taken a picture, but we’ll be back tomorrow. (Oops supposed to be a secret.) Wish we could stay, but after one set and after DH pried me from the bench, it’s back over to Future World for our mission to Mars. Em and DH ride, but Jake and I are content to play the games at the end. We also love the gift shop. Here’s Em and DH goofing around.

Maybe this is a good place to stop for today. After all that spinning, DH is feeling a little sick and we have an appointment with my favorite Mouse.

Loving all the pics - that's great that you saw so many princesses! I've never seen anyone but Ariel at the Magic Kingdom, so I'll have to look in the World Showcase for everyone.

Hey! It was so exciting to come home from a hard day at work and see posts on my trip report thread!!

Goofyluver~ I have not been brave enough to try Mission Space. DH and Em love it, but only the non-spinning side. When it first opened, they rode the spinning side while Jake and I went through Innoventions. When we met up afterwards, Em was so happy and excited, but DH was GREEN! I've never seen him that color before. The nonspinning side doesn't effect him at all. Jake and I are planning to ride this summer.

Twingle~ Epcot is great for characters. We've seen Mary Poppins and Mulan in World Showcase in the past.

Cory'sGal~ Glad to share a good secret with a friend! It was so amazing to be surrounded by fireworks!

Thanks so much for reading. The next chapter is in Word right, waiting to be tweeked. I've got to go outside now, though. The weather is gorgeous,and I've got to move azaleas.

DAY THREE PART THREE ~ Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy! Oh MY!

When we left our intrepid travelers, they were getting tired and DH was a little sick. Well, we can’t go running out of EPCOT just yet! I am the proud holder of a Disney Visa Card. That entitles us to a free photo opportunity offered in Innoventions, and if it’s free, we are there. There is a small roped off area where you stand and one family at a time is taken in. We were so excited to see Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy waiting for us. After hugs and autographs, we pose for our picture. “Squeeze together,” I tell the children. Here’s the result.

Doesn’t Jake look happy? It was a great experience and always makes me feel sort of special. We are able to go straight to the photo shop under Spaceship Earth and pick up our photo. Love that!
On our way out we checked up on our leave a legacy tile. I’m always forgetting to bring the address, but today I remembered. We have a lovely view of Spaceship Earth with the monorail overhead.

Here we are.

Back at the room, we are chilling, downloading pics and taking a short swim. It is so hard for me to leave the parks for this afternoon break. I just want to Go, Go, GO! But we need it. It makes all the difference even on a short trip in how much fun we have. But it just kills me. I can’t nap. I can’t rest. So while the DH and the kids are napping, I’m lying awake strategizing, thinking about what’s next and what we still want to do,.It’s something I want to work on in the future, learn to relax. You’d think with so many trips under my belt, I wouldn’t be so worried about missing something, but I’m not willing to miss a thing!!!
All rested and ready to go!!

The park of choice is MGM. MGM is great at night. After a quick supper at ABC Commissary (Here’s Ty Pennington’s bullhorn)

We head over to the Streets of America to see the Spectacle of Lights. The lights were not dancing, but they were beautiful just the same. I love the angels in the sky over by the entrance to Lights, Motor, Action, Just amazing.
ENJOY!

There were tons of people there, but not so much for the lights as for Super Soap Weekend. They had the stars set up back there for pictures and autographs. We saw a few from far off. I’m not really a soap watcher, although I did start watching All My Children for a time afterwards to see what stars I saw at WDW. We did see Susan Lucci. She is just a little bitty thing!
Star tours was deserted so Em and DH had a ride.

Jake and I headed back to the resort while DH and Em took advantage of short waits at Tower of Terror and Rockin’ Roller Coaster. Jake and I walked slowly back to the bus stop through the shops and talked. He’s 13 now and I’m not sure how much longer he’s gonna want to talk to me so I cherish those times.

I'm not so sure of Mission Space myself, but in honor of my 40th birthday this year, I've vowed to try new things!! Thanks for reading. I"m enjoying your pretrip so much. We only have 65 more days until our next trip!!
