Magic Hours/Early Breakfast question

We have an 8:15am breakfast reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table next week and would love to see the Rope Drop. The Disney website posts the Magic Kingdom Welcome show's start time as 6:50am. We have no problem getting there that early but don't want to be stuck standing at the gate until 8am when the park opens to all guests. Does any one know what time they will let us into the park? We are staying off-site for the 1st time so I've never had this issue before.

You likely won't be able to stand inside the gates
in the area that offers the best view of the show.

You can see some of it from outside the park gates, but
much of it can be blocked by the roofs of the entrance gates.

It looks like those mornings are all EMH days..so the park is open to on-site guests at 7am, which is why the Welcome Show starts at 6:50. You probably won't be able to get to the actual viewing area because only on-site guests will be allowed through. You could stand just past bag check, possibly. But you aren't going to get the best view, as Robo already mentioned. You will probably be held at the gate until just before 8am. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear.

Thank you for the info! It's not a big deal if we miss Rope Drop but thought we'd try to catch it if we could. We're only at the World for one day so sleeping in a half hour longer will be a big help
