Magic Express Question

Here is situation, can I utilize Magic Express:

Family of 5, 4 are staying at Pop Century, 1 is staying with friend who just moved down to Orlando (in order to abide by occupancy rules of Value resorts).

Will we be able to utlize Magic Express for all 5 of us???? How does it work at airport, does Disney people have a list of those on reservation?? We only have 4 on reservation due to son staying elsewhere, but all 5 need airport transfer.....

I believe if your not on the ressie you won't get a voucher for DME. DME needs to be booked before you arrive. (They do not take walk ups. I'm sure you know this but others might not.) good luck

paults is correct.

There are several criteria for using DME:

• advance reservation for DME (no walk-ups allowed)

• named on a resort reservation at a Disney owned-and-operated resort

• travel from MCO to that resort on check-in day

• travel from that resort to MCO on check-out day

So, unfortunately, if your son is not on your reservation, which he's not, then he's not entitled to the free DME ride. And the Disney computers know ALL.

And as paults alluded to, you will find this out for yourself when you make your DME reservations.

Technically the fifth person may not take Magical Express and attempted ME usage is one way Disney catches overoccupancy of rooms.

The family member left out can go to the Mears Shuttle counter. It is possible he may be on the same bus because sometimes Mears commingles ME, Disney Cruise Line, and its own customers.
