Wow...I just realized there are only 2 Eastern Magic cruises this fall...guess I'll be stalking the internet looking for a Navigator from the eastern before ours

I'm new to the Dis board and am just learning the ins and outs. My family (Grandpa, grandma, hubby, my 3 kiddos and myself) is booked for our very first cruise and we can't wait. An added bonus is that my oldest will turn 10 while we are cruising. I just started reading about door magnets Fish extenders, dis boards etc. it's all a but overwhelming but so exciting!!! If love any thoughts, guidance etc.

Hi Jkenline. DH stands for Dear Husband. DW Dear Wife
DD Dear Daughter and so on for the immediate family members

there is a post on here with all the abbreviations, so perhaps someone better than I can link it for you.

Mixology is a class the bartenders give instructing how to make 7-10 different adult drinks. When you walk in they have approx. 7 different drinks on the table for each person. Mudslides, Long islands, Bahama Mamas and Cosmos are some of the prior drinks we've had. They usually will allow the class to concoct their own signature drink as well. I believe it was only $15 pp for the hour class. The instructors are very informative and funny as well....... They do offer the classes at Guest services on a limited basis but its much more fun with your new friends from the DIS!!

I would love to participate in this!

Just wanted to say Hi! We've been to WDW many times, but my 7 year old son has been asking to go on a cruise, so we've decided on this cruise for our FIRST Cruise! Also, after attending MNSSHP the last 6 years, we decided to switch it up, and we'll also be going to our first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party on this trip!

How fun!! There are 7 of us in 2 cabins - we will probably be changing our stateroom so I'll send that info later. For now we are Grandpa Rick, Grandma Cindy, Paul and Jen and our kids Daniel 9(turning 10 on 11/14), Riley (8) and Max (6). I am a former Disney Cast Member but have never been on a DC and Its going to be really hard to keep this secret for another 265 days. Eek!!! Looking forward to getting to know everyone better here.

Don't forget- we need to get a private Mixology group together! I believe we had to have a minimum of 20 on the Wonder. We ended up having 4 groups!

Weather has been awesome here past week, but plunging into cold winter again next week. I hope November water temps at Castaway Cay are still warm enough to enjoy swimming. I have read November can be warmer than Spring time.

Anyone decided on excursions for other ports yet? DD will be 4.5 and will need to find something that works for all of us. We really enjoy the the at sea days, and so glad we have 3 on this cruise.

Just checked pricing out of curiosity and our category has went up $1300 since we booked. We are doing 4 nights post at WDW and doing the Christmas party. We did the Halloween party this past October and really enjoyed it...soon we will be booking our excursions for cruise and dining for Disney. Love planning Disney trips.
