HELLO THERE! I was just thinking about you and Mollie yesterday! I was going through my photos from the 1/2 Marathon and remembering that sea of lime green scarves! Enjoy your pork loin tomorrow....sounds yummy!
 
I love grilled pineapple...it is so yummy...

it is really good with chicken marinated and then grilled in:
lemon juice
garlic
ginger
black pepper

that is what I had for breakfast and my morning snack today!

Okay I am still at 49 lbs...I am blaming it on the pizza before Pirates and the popcorn during the movie...well actually we were so early we finished it before the movie started... :rotfl: ...but this time I just could no resist....

I have to try the grilled pineapple. I made a salsa with mango, pineapple and red onion and put it on top of grilled chicken that I marinated in lite soy sauce, ginger and lemon juice. It was good :thumbsup2 I do have a receipe for grilled pineapple on corn bread toped with icecream. I have to find a low point corn bread.

Well, I think this week wil be a good weigh in for me. I am hoping to do some more walking again tonight. :banana:
 
Okay I am about to bust. I lost 5.4lbs this week. I am in love with grilled veggies. Please change my total to 29. I am working fast to catch up with you Becky. I am half way there :thumbsup2

Thanks guys. I was so excited at WI that I thought I would bust. I thought I had lost 3 lbs and was hoping to finally break the 25. To my delight I ended up 1 lb fom next goal. Yippie :banana:

Now I am really stocked for next week. Today I found out the my DIL is doing an amazing race game for my birthday. So I am gonna start training for that. More walking and even a little jogging of sorts. I figure that will help me get to the 50 lbs mark sooner. That is my mid way goal and one I hope to get to by time the cruise.

Well, I am off to bed and hopefully feed my DGD soon (I am taking the late night feeding to help the kids out :teeth: at least that is what they think) ;)

Onward and downward.
 
Morning boys and girls. Well, I'm down a pound this morning, but I almost hesitate to 'claim' it......as I'm leaving for Disneyland in a couple of hours. While I don't plan to go 'hog wild' this weekend there will be some tasty treats consumed. Being on my feet all day Saturday should help compenste somewhat. I must REMEMBER THE DOLPHINS!

I have not even looked at a scale for 2 weeks. I was really good while away, but I have been retaining water and I dont want the scale to depress me.
I am the queen of grilling. Love to also grill peachs along with pinapples.We laways make zuchinnis(sp) but I do it a little different. I buy really little ones and wrap them in foil. It takes around 20 mins, but they come out GREAT. No butter needed. Also we grill corn, right in the husk. Eggplant in another favorite,slice onions really thick and grill them and red peppers yum esp with grilled chicken sausage.

Michelle, great grilling udea. How do you do the eggplant? I have a receipe for cinese eggpland, mushrooms and zuchini with a blue cheese dip. Thought I would try that this weekend.

I am also gonna grill some pineapple and serve it with icecream and ff carmel syrup. I will take any onterh suggestions you all have.

HI all- I found something to help me with keeping track of my points and maybe one of you might like it too. I use a mac, but I believe they have a windows widget too. It is called youdiet and I found it at http://www.bunkens.be/?ma_ver=1&mi_ver=1 It is a desktop points calculator based on the weight watchers points system. I'm on my computer all the time, and thought having the calculator right on my desktop MIGHT keep me more accountable. I did much better when I went to the meetings, and doing it on my own without the weekly weigh in --- it makes it too easy to go astray! So.... after weeks of bouncing the same few pounds off and on, I'm going to start anew! Congrats Dee on your BIG week! :thumbsup2

I love to brush the eggplant with a little oil and vinegar and some salt and pepper. I think veggies are so yummy on the grill that they only need a little added. I also like to put them in a covered dish. If I do not use much on them they can stay a little dry, so if I cover them after grilling they actually soften up.
 
Ok not a great couple of weeks for me. Actually up higher than I'd like -a clean day today - so hopefully i can get back on track!pixiedust: I just can't get motivated or I am just plain not committed! :genie: HELP~~~
 
Never fear, sister dear! Time to re-focus and forge ahead! I also had some 'sticker-shock' this morning, but I know a few days of clean, low carb living and half of it will be gone (it was 4 lbs!). The other half will take another week, most likely. It's starting to get a little close to be loosing ground though, so I'll be keeping that in mind and must always.......REMEMBER THE DOLPHINS!
 
Hey guys, don't give up. I think we should try to set smaller goals. Lets set a small goal of 5lbs for the month of July. How does that sound?

I think the harder I try the harder it gets. My family is always undermining me. I will have a great day and hubby will say lets have ice cream or why dont you have a glass of wine so on and so forth. Making it really hard. It is amazing how easy it is to gain 2 lbs andd how hard it is to lose 2 pounds. Like jackie says"remeber the dolphins" :thumbsup2 Today is another day.
